Good sweater but wanted the quarter zip instead.
What I really wanted was the quarter zip version, but as usual, even though I ordered the day the catalog arrived in the mail, it was sold out (or never available in the first place), like OFTEN happens when ordering from Bean in recent years. Discouraging but I'm getting used to it. A few weeks later I broke down and ordered the "roll neck" because I like the pattern. Fits well, looks and feels good. Warm. But I still wish I had the quarter zip instead.

5Organic cotton Rollneck Crew Sweater Fair Isle
Sweater was well made. Size large was appropriate. However the shoulders were too narrow. Shoulder on sweater came inside my actual shoulder, inside of where other sweater and shirts shoulders lie. Due to the shoulder issue I have returned the sweater. I have 2 other LL Bean sweater of which I am very satisfied.

Inspect Your Order!
Inspect it throughly upon delivery! The sweater I ordered and waited months for arrived with snags and runs in it. Not in a sneaky place, right across the front of the sweater. QC really failed.

He loves it!
This was a Christmas present for my husband. I didn't think he would wear this because it was too 'wild, I was wrong! Colors are somewhat muted, it looks great on him. Been washed 2 times already with no pilling, kept its shape. Soft, warm and comfortable.

Nice Sweater, but tight in the shoulders
I've been looking for a nice Fair Isle sweater for a while, and wanted to buy high quality. I like it overall, but the shoulders are too narrow, so it's not a great fit. If I get the larger size the rest of the sweater is just too big.

Great looking, I usually wear a medium but ordered a large so I could wear a shirt underneath. It fits fine but the sleeves were a bit long.
