Doesn't work and became really hot to touch
My wife bought me this flashlight for a gift awhile ago. When I needed a flashlight I took it out of the package and was disappointed that it didn't work. I also changed the battery and that didn't help. The lights didn't work but the flashlight itself got hot to the touch. Very disappointed in this product.

Black ones didn't work, blue ones did
I bought three of these flashlights as Christmas gifts for my husband and two sons at this time last year. All were blue, and worked out of the package. At the same time, I bought myself a black one. It did NOT work out of the package. I then bought another black one to replace the first one before returning it. The second black one also didn't work when I opened it. Very disappointed, and didn't bother wasting time returning them.

Blue didn't work, replaced with black
We ordered the blue version online, when it was received we put in the supplied battery and it did not work. We used a fresh new battery. Did not work. We made sure the battery was right side up. We looked for instrux in case it was "locked" and nothing we did fixed it. Based on other reviews, returned to the store and purchased black version, and tested it in the store to be sure. It worked with the supplied battery, no fiddling required. Staff was nice about it.

Did not work out of the package
We purchased the black version. It did not work out of the package with either the battery it came with, or a new battery. The battery was in the right way. We tried turning off the safety lock and pushing any combination of buttons. If there was some other trick to turning it on, there were no instructions in the package. So either the bulb was bad, or this was an all around dud.

Great little flashlight; small and bright enough. Well made and the lantern is a useful feature. Only 4 stars because I wish it came with a wrist strap. Also, the buttons are easily depressed so it turned on on my waist pack without me knowing and the battery drained.

Lots of uses
I’ve tripped and fallen walking into the woods and been a little lost on the way out, so this flashlight’s different features, including the blinking light could be helpful. At home, we occasionally lose power and need some instant light, so this flashlight is on my desk for easy access. It’s small enough to go in your pocket and fit in your hand.

Nicely made. Lots of versatility but not over done with features. Flashlight has 3 temps, red emergency light either solid or flashing. Nice “lantern” feature which allows you to slide the lens down and expose more of the light source. Highly recommended!

LITTLE FLASHLIGHT WITH MANY USES
Love this little powerhouse flashlight!! A flashlight was one suggested item to pack for a recent South American tour. It took no space in our luggage and was easy to handle. Now we have it in our home's utility drawer. Great for walking our dog at night!

Great Small Flashlight
This flashlight delivers a lot of light and is a great size for keeping in a fanny pouch, largish purse, carry on bag, bedside drawer.I like to have one for when I walk my dogs in the dark and also by my bed at night so I won't wake up my snorings spouse.

A flashlight that completely wipes out its own battery in two hours is of little use on a week long camping trip. Perhaps it is helpful on an overnight hike at most. At the time of purchase, we had no access to the facts on rapid battery consumption. The possibility of such poor performance from ANYTHING I buy at LLB never occurred to us.

Small but does a lot!
I have so far bought 4 of these. I keep them all over the house so when the lights go out we are well lit. It is amazing how well the lantern feature lights up a room. It is also very handy for hunting around the bottom of a dark closet.
