My Hands Are Warm and Dry
The gloves fit well, are warm, and moisture resistant. When I saw them, I was a little worried about my Winter coat’s sleeves not working with them. After trying them, they fit well over the cuff of each sleeve.
My gloves are XL. I’m 6’1” tall but my hands aren’t particularly large.

Light but also marginally warm
I picked for use in outdoor service including search and rescue so I chose the bright orange version. I tested on a couple practice exercises in Kansas December weather. Cold but not below zero. I was attracted to the lighter weight for being able to carry out tasks a bit finer than holding trekking or ski poles. I found them not as warm as expected so rated down. I am also a bit concerned on the durability but time will test that and whether I buy a second pair. I also will want to test in wet conditions.

Ski Gloves that Can't Get Away
Not only are these gloves waterproof and warm, at 12,000ft on the Continental Divide, but a really cool addition is the glove retainer straps that secure the gloves at your wrist when you remove the gloves. No more sticking gloves over ski poles or seeing your glove hit the snow under the chairlift.

Best gloves ever
I have been through a lot of different brands of gloves over the years in the Colorado Rockies. The gloves I bought recently at L.L. Bean have out preformed them all. They actually keep my hands warm!

Not warm at all
These are well-made, but not very warm. Your hands have to be super hot on the way in, or they will freeze within minutes. Unless I'm doing something wrong, these gloves are not recommended. I have to pick up some liners for these to be even remotely warm enough for average winter weather.

Good Gloves but not Great Gloves
They are good but still now what I expected or truly need. I walk every day regardless of weather. In the winter, I need a good pair of gloves to keep my hands and fingers warm down to at least the teens in temperature. Around freezing (32 degrees F) my fingers get cold in these gloves. I like the way they will tighten around my hands to keep the snow out, but that does not keep my fingers warm. So far, I have not found a pair that work, unlike the LLBean insulated boots which have always kept my feet warm and dry regardless of the weather and temperature.

Great gloves - every detail well thought out
Great gloves. The double tabs on the elastic drawstrings make it simple to tighten or loosen one glove with the other glove on. The wrist elastics are very useful; you don't have to hold your loose glove under your arm or stuff it in your pocket. So far, very satisfied. Although it has not been cold enough yet to test their warmth.

Good Fit
I bought a mens large. The fingers are long enough and the palm is wide enough (often a problem for me) for a comfortable fit. The sleeve is high enough above the wrist to keep out snow and drafts with a good closure pull. They are not as warm (at 15 degrees) as I had hoped but good enough when out and about the yard. Any colder and mittens are needed here in central Maine. My husband liked mine and bought himself a pair for snow blowing this winter.

somewhat disappointing
My first experience using these gloves was somewhat disappointing. With temperature in the low thirties and wind chill in high twenties, my fingers got cold while doing some easy hiking. The second time, with temps in the low forties and wind chill in high thirties, my fingers did not get cold. I can get the same results from less expensive gloves.
