These insulated, waterproof ski gloves provide a sure barrier for cold hands while swerving down slopes.

Don't buy if you want to keep your hands warm,

primaloft /gore tex/ LLbean./..whats not to like! I bought these in the retail store with a gift card. I have not seen the orange gloves in person. The store only had mens black. and womens blue. They both looked great. tried them on and they feel like good ski gloves. The level of Primaloft in these gloves is good...not rated for extreme cold.....but if you are moving around skiing ,excercising, etc. you will stay warm &dry.

140 primaloft gold insulation is medium weight
I bought these gloves in mens medium (which is true to size. ) The 140 Primaloft gold insulation is medium weight . (anything above 140 is considered for extreme cold weather.)
I researched Primaloft and people complaining that these gloves arent warm eneough must not be moving around much in the cold. If you are skiing for example, then your body will sweat ,heat up,and your hands should stay warm.

Need a Temperature Rating?
I ordered these in Black for my son & Orange for myself. 3-day ski trip to CO and my fingers were damaged on Day #1. We have been home for 2 weeks and I still have diminished feeling and sensitivity issues in 2 fingers.

Outstanding!
I bought these gloves to keep my boyfriend comfortable while shoveling snow. He hasn’t needed them for that yet, but wore them on a long hike. At one point he got a little warm and was able to take them off and let the elastic band keep them at his wrists. It was perfect! I highly recommend these gloves.

Excellent LL Bean Value
Skied from 10-40 degrees in these, a little too warm above that but within that range very comfy. Always dry. The extra cuff strap is nice I don't have to worry about loosing them on the lift and I can whip them off quick without worrying about storing them for a quick trip in theldoge ot to adjust the kids gear.

My Hands Are Warm and Dry
The gloves fit well, are warm, and moisture resistant. When I saw them, I was a little worried about my Winter coat’s sleeves not working with them. After trying them, they fit well over the cuff of each sleeve.
My gloves are XL. I’m 6’1” tall but my hands aren’t particularly large.

Light but also marginally warm
I picked for use in outdoor service including search and rescue so I chose the bright orange version. I tested on a couple practice exercises in Kansas December weather. Cold but not below zero. I was attracted to the lighter weight for being able to carry out tasks a bit finer than holding trekking or ski poles. I found them not as warm as expected so rated down. I am also a bit concerned on the durability but time will test that and whether I buy a second pair. I also will want to test in wet conditions.
