Very happy with this coat.
I love this coat. I needed something warmer that I could use for outside activities. This coat fits my needed perfectly. I will say that the other reviews are correct regarding the inside part the lining can be a pain when putting it on with a heavier sweater or sweatshirt. But the warmth and fit of the coat makes this a slight inconvenience. Also, I you don't like a hood on your coat this one is not for you.

Warm and pretty too!
I am 5'-8" and approx. 115 lbs. and the SM fits me perfectly with room for sweaters. I live in the mountains and have horses: many days of below zero, snowy weather to work in during winter. This jacket is warm and keeps moisture from drenching me. The hood is nice for windy days to keep snow and wind off of my neck. Love the color too! If I had to change anything: a phone pocket would be handy.

Half cotton lining hinders sleeves underneath
Very good except would prefer nylon lining throughout. Cotton lining in upper half causes long sleeved tops' sleeves to ride up.

Great coat but sized weird
The coat itself is great, it’s warm and looks good on. The one bad thug is that the arms are too right. I ordered the size I would normally wear and I thought the arms were too tight especially if I was layering underneath. I returned the coat and got a bigger size but it doesn’t feel any different. Tha sizing just seems off.

Down hooded jacket
This coat was too small. I ordered a small regular b/c i went by the size chart; however i could not even get my second arm in. Perhaps it was just a faulty one but it had to go back. LLBean has always made my coats and i was disappointed. I'm sure i will give it another try sfter the holidays!

Love this coat!
This coat is wonderfully warm without being heavy. The hood is also warm & cozy, more than just a flimsy fabric layer as many hoods are. Mine is a great shade of green which is cheerful on gray days. PS. This coat has no velcro anywhere, yay!

Wonderful winter coat
Obsessed with this coat! It's great for colder temps, such as the 40s and 30s. It's deceivingly warm and ultra cozy. The fit where it comes in at the waist and hits down to the hip is excellent. I purchased in green and I absolutely love the color (especially the minimalist contrast with the lime green features). The quality is fantastic. I have four LL Bean coats/jackets and while they are all great, this one if my favorite. Highly recommend!

Pretty and good for cooler days.
This is cut very close so there's no room for a layer underneath, which would have been nice. Zipper pockets on the inside of the jacket would have been very nice. The deep green color is beautiful. When it's zipped all the way up, the neck covers the chin and mouth which is nice. Thank you.

Just about Perfect Jacket
I had to buy a warm jacket with a hood and zippers for a relative in memory care. The jacket had to be a style she always loved - the thinner puffer style; have zippered pockets that will withstand her pulling them up and down constantly (due to her illness); have a roomy hood easy for her to put up and take down; and most importantly, have a lining that wasn’t a thick fleece due to sensory issues. We tried more than a few jackets. THIS one ticked off all the boxes. The lining reminds me of a flannel level thickness and it’s nice and soft and warm. The zippers? Never become caught and she can even use the main zipper easily with her elderly fingers. The hood is perfect. If you’re looking for a tight hood, then this won’t work for you, but the hood stayed up on a windy day and kept her ears toasty. And of course, it looks great. It’s a 5 star jacket for most but us older folk like a longer jacket. If this model was 6 inches longer, it would be amazing.

Disappointed with fit
I ordered a large as I wear large tops and unfortunately this jacket was much to small, about 6 inches to small across the chest area. Very disappointed as I thought the color and style would be perfect. I sent it back and decided to go to a local store and try jackets on.
