Good but more of a very dark blue than black
I can’t really explain it but even when you look at the mittens by themselves, they don’t look quite black-you can compare it the strap and leather grip part which are black…
I thought it was my goggles playing tricks on me but they are definitely a dark navy blue and not black.

Warm at the arctic circle!
I wore these mittens while on vacation in Finland. my hands were warm and dry during all our adventures. The wrist straps were indispensable as I often removed my mitts to take photos or because my hands were too warm!

Not warm enough
I purchased these mittens to replace a similar LLBean pair that I lost. They did not seem as warm as the old pair. Given the price, my fingers should have felt toasty warm. Otherwise they were well constructed.

Never lose a mitten again!
Purchased these mittens to use on a trip where I would be taking them on and off frequently - the wrist strap prevented me from dropping & losing them. Super warm and durable!

Good mittens, but pricey
Has good features: Pro’s: length past the wrist, ability to tighten, wrist straps, good overall fit, warm. Cons: if it gets wet inside, takes longer to dry, pricey

Disappointed
First, there was only one leash.
Second, these are not warm. The inner fleece is rather thin. Thankfully, they are wide enough as I ended up wear glove liners with them.
Third, they don’t slide over the cuff of ski jacket well.
On a positive note, they do shed water from the wet snow.

Back to my original glove
Used it once due to snowless winter. Found it very difficult to grasp anything. I had to remove a glove to use a zipper, operate a water bottle, unpack a snack bar etc. very inconvenient

Not good for cold weather
My hands and especially pinky fingers were freezing in 30 degree weather on a 20 minute walk (unusual for me). I tried them several times with the same result. Also, the thumb fit is not great and thumb lining isn’t attached fully to the exterior of the glove making it cumbersome to put the mittens back on. the wrist straps are handy. I will be returning them.

Another Superior LL Bean product
I’m so pleased with these mittens. I was worried they wouldn’t be warm enough as they are so much thinner than my last ones but they’re very warm and Goretex will keep my hands dry in all conditions.

Nice mittens, but too small.
Runs small. Bought Large & fingertips were tight at the end of mitten. Never an issue for me before.

Ye and no.
They are warm and I like the cinch strap for around the wrist. However you can not get your thumbs into the place where they go easily. It takes several tries to get them on as the insert layer is not attached in the thumb area. So it does not stay put. I hate the struggle to get these on. I need mitten style warmth but easy slide on wear. Also to be washable with out the inside liner moving!

Primaloft Ski mitten women’s
Extremely soft and nice and long. My only criticism is that they make my hands feel a little damp inside but that might just be me.

Super-Warm Mittens
I love the gloves but they seem to be a little lengthy from the knuckle area to the fingertips. A bit shorter in that area and they’d be perfect.

Practical and functional
I really like these. I have an older version in men's but like this style better with the opening that cinches down instead of a smaller opening. I also really appreciate the arm straps so I can remove the mitten without having to find a place to set it. I'm using these for XC skiing, playing in the yard with the kids, and walking the dog. I have large hands. The measurement chart said I would be a size medium, but I bought I large and then are a little smaller than I would like them to be. I find that the men's medium in the older style I have was a good fit as those are a little larger than these women's large.

Great mittens even for non-ski activities!
I live in Minnesota and bought these mittens for playing outside in the snow with my kids and walking our dog. I have somewhat poor circulation and my hands tend to get VERY cold and numb. So far while wearing these mittens with a thin liner underneath, my hands have stayed warm for up to 1.5 hours of outdoor play in under 15 degrees. They are comfortable and fit really well. I would highly recommend.

warm but not perfect
As with most mittens, I find the lining to stick to my dry hands.
Also, the thumb lining does not line up with the exterior and I struggle to put them on and for a size Medium, it feels quite small. Too expensive for an imperfect mitten.
I was happier with the lining of the kids coldbuster mittens (size L)... but lost one and thought I would invest in some solid adult ones.
A return will cost me at least $16 shipping... what to do?

Primaloft Ski mittens
The mittens are warm enough for temperatures down to 10 degrees and the wrist holders are good to have when mitten removing is needed.

Good but too short
Mittens seem great, but they are too short overall. I have small hands and fingers and consistently wear a size small in mittens/gloves. These were too short in a size S. They did fit my 9-year-old, with a little room to grow. Going to try a size M for me.

Toasty
For tall people. Would be great if that came in a short or petite. But because there were no zippers on the bottom. They were able to be shortened. Light weight, warm and water proof.
