Nice Winter Addition from L.L. Bean
I've come to enjoy the convenience of slip-ons. I have L.L. Bean slip on winter moccasins and regular moccasins. I bought these because they were better looking to go to the store, etc. during the winter months. Buy yourself one of those long shoehorns because this will make it easier to slip them on, at least when they are still new. They grip very well during the winter months, actually, surprisingly well. I bought black ones, which are suede, so it appears, so you will need to do some wiping off when you come in sometimes. Also, they keep my feet very warm, in spite of the fact that they are low cut.

Warm versatile shoes
My spouse likes these shoes for dog walks on packed snow and ice, running around town, and even for church. Warm, good-looking and comfortable. We used waterproof spray on them. Nubuck may require occasional brushing.

I'd buy it in leather
I have worn the precursor to this shoe for 15 years and bought 5-6 pairs. It was offered in Suede and Leather. I always bought leather in brown and black. The suede is not attractive, nor is the light sole.
The black looks better in this style.

Very comfortable & look good. Suitable for many occasions. Have used in a few inches of snow & all good. Wore for a casual business appointment. I definitely endorse. I’m a 12.5 or 13 size depending on width, 13 was perfect

Fit is true to size
Bought this for my husband. PRO; Very comfortable once they are on. Con; Very hard to get on, they are cut high on the arche and gusset very tight. Am hoping they will stretch out. Not good if you have arthritis. Hence a star off.

Not easy to slip on, but a great shoe
This shoe is warm and comfortable and easy to walk in. But, you need a good and sturdy shoe horn to put it on. If your socks are a bit thick, putting the shoes on is like putting two pounds of bologna into a one pound bag. I recommend the shoe, but be aware: not that simple to just slip on.

comfortable winter shoes that can quickly get you out the door to weather most winter scenarios. warm, sturdy, good traction. size was true for me. flexible entrance to shoe keeps snow out, even when trekking through fresh snow. purchased these over my trusted Merrill version as a change, I think they look better.
