I bought this 4 years ago They served me well through 4 swinters. Warm, easy on-off, light-weight, size fits well. good traction in snow. Suggest more cushion in heel strike area. And reflective striping for winter nights running.

Avoid first impressions!
I purchased the Men's Snow Sneaker w/hook & Loops in a size 11W. My normal shoe size is 10.5W, but upon reading customer reviews before ordering which highlighted difficulties in getting the boots on, I'm glad I ordered the longer length. My first mistake upon the boots' arrival was to cinch them up as tightly as I could. After a few hours of indoor wear, the left boot began irritating my shin bone. I did not wear the boots for a couple of days, even considered sending them back. However, I gave them another try. This time I took my time and did not cinch them up so tightly, especially the top strap, which by the way, in my opinion, could be a little longer to hide the Velcro. Anyway, success! I've had two days of wear and no pain. They are warm and comfortable, and I would recommend them to others. Just take the time to give them a fair test. Don't go by first impressions. I did wear them shopping in our first snowfall of the winter in Illinois (8-10") and the boots felt fine.

Warm and comfortable!
I live in cold and snowy Northern Minnesota and purchased a pair of snow sneakers for outside activities. They are both warm and comfortable, with a thick sole, and great for walking in cold weather. I frequently do woodworking in my garage for several hours daily, and they are better than other boots that I have for warmth due to the thick sole and are easier on my feet while standing on concrete. I ordered a half size larger to give room for thick winter socks, which was a wise choice. I would recommend a larger pull on loop, as the current ones are a little small for large hands. These shoes are great, and I highly recommend them.

Snow Sneaker
Velcro rather than lace is best, for me. Had many prior with lace, never seemed to stay tied. So easy to just pull strap over, boom, done, and stay in position. Only a 4 star as kind of tight getting on, but once on,comfortable, with heavy socks, warm, and waterproof ,so to speak when walking though snow up to about 3 inches.

Necessity for a Niche Market; Great for Everyone
These are a necessity for any serious hiker who can't (or doesn't want to) deal with bootlaces. They're also excellent hiking shoes in their own right. I bought one pair of each color when they first became available. I used them less than a week and was surprised by how good they are, so I tried to order another pair for alternation and for the future, and found that my size was already sold out. I suppose there are a lot more hikers who can't deal with bootlaces than anyone imagined.

Maybe not the color you are expecting
This boot is NOT the brown color appearing in the catalog. It is a plum color. Perhaps more desirable for ladies.
