I purchased an 11 wide, which is only comfortable with thin socks. Pretty stiff right out of the box, which I assume will loosen up in time. Toe box is decent, just more tapered than an actual sneaker design that I was looking for. Good gripping on slippery surface. Happy enough so far.

Disappointed
I have been a LLbean customer since 1979 and have always been pleased with everything. It stopped with these snow sneakers. One positive is that the snow sneakers are waterproof. Negatives are many. Size 10M iris very generous in width. The laces are hard to pull tight and keep tight. Even with a double knot. Hence, slippage happens on right heel. Not enough wiggle room in the round toe area. As for traction, the snow sneaker is good in fresh snow but if there is a tiny hidden patch of ice beneath that snow, LOOK OUT! The material itself feels very stiff. I guess it must be the water proofing that makes it feel stiff and uncomfortable. I have worn these snow sneakers about 6 times and am totally disappointed with this snow sneaker. In previous years, if an LLBean customer was dissatisfied with the product, it could be returned. If that is still the long tradition policy, I would like a refund.

Almost for me
I loved how light and comfy these were. Perfect for the winter walking I'd like to be doing. They were just too long in the toe and LL doesn't do anything below a 6. :( I did recommend them to a friend who was looking for the same thing. Wish they'd fit as they were excellent!

Warm with good Traction
Snow Sneaker arrived on time, seems to be warm, with good traction. Heel is extremely loose and inconsistent with the rest of the shoe. I have wide feet and buy wide's and generally do not have problems with the fit.

I have never had a pair of sneakers or shoes that I didn’t have to break in before wearing them. My snow sneakers are a first! They were so comfortable and a true fit that I didn’t want to take them off all day. I love them and wear them every day! Did I tell you how warm and dry they keep my feet in all kinds of weather? Love these snow sneakers!
I try to walk everyday but when cold weather and snow happens I have to put up my summer sneakers. These have great tread and keep feet warm. Not too heavy like wearing a boot. They fit good in my regular shoe size with warmer socks. Wore them right out of the box with no problems.

“Perfect” snow sneakers
Two days after they were delivered, I had to be outside in 11° weather. Feet were warm. The next day had 6 inches of snow - great traction even on packed down snow @ business parking lots. Never got warm enough to slog thru slush so can’t attest to waterproof feature. They were really comfortable right out of the box. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my usual shoe size because I knew I would be wearing heavier socks. Definitely recommend these.

My dream Snow Sneakers
Oh my gosh, what a fabulous sneaker for the snow. I an so afraid of walking in the snow but love sneakers! These are right on the money! Padding in the sneaker makes them warm and fit nice and snug. The souls have a great tread which helps to ease my fears. I can wear them to drive, walk to my destination, sneakers remaining dry. Just perfect!

Too pointy and narrow in toe box, not wide width
Not the same style I had in the past. I need a wide width and I don’t know why LL Bean thinks women want their feet squashed into pointy shoes. All of their shoes are the same, not comfortable! Please make shoes and boots with wider toe boxes.Returning.

Lowcut and Do the Job
I purchased these because they are low cut. I had a burn on my ankle and couldn’t wear higher boots. They were not very comfortable but I have a hard to fit foot. I kept them just to have an extra pair of waterproof shoes.
