Ankle boots
This is a very nice looking boot and the quality is good, overall the fit was big at my usual size 81/2. To many laces, if the boot had a side zipper, I would have considered trying a small an 8 size to see how the fit was.

Hmmm…
I wear these boots very infrequently. Purchased 11/19/21, 2 years and 3 months ago. I polish them regularly, do not use them as a work boot. Only wear them in the winter months. Very disappointed that the seam is torn with the care I give them (wanting to protect my investment of $169.00). I don’t know whether or not LLBean reads the reviews but I would certainly welcome a reply from them regarding my dissatisfaction.

The most comfortable boot!
I bought these boots for my daughter and they felt comfortable immediately and she didn't want to take them off! Great arch support, warm and sturdy sole. Also stylish. I hope to buy a pair for myself!

BOOTS ARE AWESOME, BUT ORDER DOWN A HALF SIZE
These are actually great boots - for not the coldest or wintriest of winter days! If you size down by 1/2 size, buy some insoles (whatever thickness you need to take up the extra room inside) for less than $10 and some thicker hiking boot laces for less than $10, and you'll hav some perfectly fitted & secure boots!

Nice looking ot well made
Nice looking boot, heel area is a little loose fit, you heel did lift a little. Made really nice but I wouldn't expect them to hold up for serious hiking. I wear them to work, but I do throw on my work boots for trecking through the woods I don't want to ruin them

Stylish Winter Boot
The fit is a bit wide so perfect for me. Although I sometimes wear an 8 1/5 the 8 was plenty roomy. I would describe the color as a warm taupe, sort of brown, not so gray. If the laces were more like speed laces, not all eyelet, I would rate them a 5 star. Love the color, fit, comfort, and look.

Size up one half size; I think you'll like them
A very nice looking and comfortable boot. Working at L.L. Bean on the sales floor, I am always on the move. I truly like these boots for their good looks and comfort. High praise indeed! I have added/swapped out the insoles for the ones my physical therapist recommends and now they are even better. I normally wear a 9.5 while these are a 10, so size up a half size is my advice. The width is fine for my average feet.
The boots have a Vibram sole which does tend to collect dirt, but the dirt is easy to dislodge and clean up. They are insulated and so far, my feet have not been uncomfortably cold. I have not stood outside at an ice arena to test this yet.

Love the style, not the color.
The style is so cute, but I got the “russet brown” and I would describe it as a dark pink/red color. I was expecting something more true brown, and more like the photos. Disappointed, I’ll be returning.

Excellent versatile comfortable boot
Absolutely adore these boots! They do run a little big. I always order size 9.5 in all shoes. I had to go down to a size 9 and even then still have room for thicker socks. The leather is breaking in wonderfully. They are comfortable enough for everyday wear both to the mall and to use outdoors.

Love everything about these boots! The color and comfort are fantastic. I have a narrow foot, so I do have to add an insert; however, that is a very minor adaptation that I must do with most of my shoes since "Narrow" options are non-existent these days.

I Love These Boots!
These boots are so comfortable to wear! No break-in necessary! The other reviewer aren't exaggerating when they say these boots feel like slippers! I am a 7.5 in sneakers and an 8 in other shoes, but these fit me perfectly in a 7.5. My big toes are sensitive to pressure and these don't bother them at all. However, I have rather narrow feet. I was happy to catch them on a sale and they are worth every penny. I used L.L.Bean Boot Guard on them and it did change the color to brown, which I anticipated, but they are still pretty!

I love how these boots look, but they run wide and not sure they fit well enough. They are stylish and warm and I am just not sure if I'm going to keep them. I usually wear a 10.5, but these only came in half sizes up to 10, so I had to order an 11. Disappointed to say the least.

Rugged Cozy Boot
I love the look of these boots. There is one problem though. If I am not wearing thick socks, there is one place where the leather sides join the rest of the upper boot that rubs against my foot. I ordered up a half size so they are comfortable with the thicker socks. Otherwise, the boots look and feel good.
