This flannel-lined shirt jac returns from our archives in rugged denim. Washed for lived-in softness and fully lined with soft-brushed flannel twill, it can take the place of a jacket in warmer weather or serve as a cozy layer when it gets colder.
Exploring our archives, designers found a picture of this timeless 90s style and had to bring it back. As hardworking as it is good looking, made with soft, super-resilient fabrics and extra tough construction details. With feminine styling and a longer length for the most flattering, easygoing lined denim jacket.

Cozy Outer Shirt
Love the denim and flannel inside. I am usually a small but ordered a medium because I wear this shirt as a jacket over a turtleneck. It's comfortable and washes well, did not shrink (tumble dry till damp then hang to completely dry). I recommend this shirt!!

Very Nice Shirt
Love its appearance and the extra warmth of the lining. I live in cold Northern NY and see myself wearing this in the spring. I gave it only 4 stars because although I'm glad it has a curved hem I prefer the shirttail hems which I miss.

Love the soft feel of the denim. The lining is not really flannel like most flannel shirts are made of but I think it will be enough for light spring weather and in the fall. I like it enough to keep and use it.

Comfort, Warmth, and Style
I would wear this shirt daily if I could. It is so comfortable, warm and stylish. I am a teacher and I wore it to work recently with leggings and Blundstones. I received many compliments. The only thing that I would like to see in future iterations is side pockets for my cell phone. Right now it's cold enough to wear a vest over it but come the cool spring, it would be nice to have pockets and be able to wear it alone.

The Women's LLBean Heritage Washed Denim Lined Shirt is absolutely wonderful. I had to have it when I saw it online. My husband told me to order it!!. It is very well made, the stitching is exquisite, the buttonholes are tight, but manageable, but well sewn. I am a former seamstress, so I know quality. I couldn't have made my own shirt any better than this one. Thank you LLBean for quality and classic clothes. It is sooooo hard to find anymore

Love this shirt, heavy enough to be utilized as a light jacket or sweater to be worn inside or outside.
Buttonholes are a tad tight, but have found with wear, they adapt. Usually a petite medium, but wanted to wear as a sweater/jacket, got a large and it’s perfect.

Can't button & unbutton this shirt.
I agree with other reviewers, his shirt needs snaps & side pockets. I can fix the buttons (I'll put on snaps) but at his price I shouldn't have too. Would recommend with reservations.

Soft and comfy to layer over anything. I was hoping for just a bit more heft to the jeans layor - its a little light-weight and rumpled - but its still a keeper. Not too tight and not too boxy, so you can layer a light shirt underneath.

PLEASE — Real Flannel Lining! Not polyester.
I have been waiting for this shirt with this red stewart plaid lining — in FLANNEL for years now. Sooo disappointed it's here, but in a fake polyester?!? Over a decade ago I had a beloved olive version with the red stewart plaid FLANNEL lining. I adored that shirt! Sadly I'm still waiting. . . Please bring back this shirt (denim would be fine) with the FLANNEL lining, preferably Portuguese flannel to minimize pilling. Please.

Just what I was looking for.
My old denim shirt/jacket was pretty beat up with a big bleach stain on the front. Had looked over many websites when I found this shirt. It is the perfect shade of denim and it covers my somewhat big caboose. The lining adds an unexpected feature, not too heavy but enough to be practical when the weather gets cold. It's perfect over a top or medium weight sweater. My search is complete.

Very Disappointed
Love the outside 100% cotton denim but was disappointed in that what I thought was a nice 100% cotton flannel lining was 100% polyester..., a synthetic fabric derived from petroleum! On top of that this is the first time I purchased clothing of any kind that has the worse smell. The red plaid lining is not bright red like that pictured in the catalog or on line..., it is a dull unimpressive almost burgundy red! It may go back as I am not liking it!

Happy, even though the lining is polyester.
The shirt looks good. The denim is a substantial weight. It is long enough to cover the my backside. The buttons holes are a bit tight initially. When I looked at the plaid lining my heart sank….. polyester…really? Not cotton flannel? HOWEVER, I saw the advantage of the polyester, there is no struggle to get the shirt on or off over a cotton turtleneck. Side note. I normally wear a L, but wanted a roomier fit across the shoulders and in the sleeves.

Button hole problem
This denim shirt is disappointing. The denim with lining is a good weight for gardening or painting, but the buttons are nearly impossible to fit through the button holes. I am not sure how to fix it.
