Warm and cozy
I got this is in purple XS. It is warm and cozy and held up well after one delicate cycle wash (fabric still looks exactly the same as before washing). Quality seems very good. The purple colors is same as shown online. The XS fit is roomy in the mid-to-low torso area, but it is a flattering shape nonetheless. I get cold easily, so I am generally wearing this over another (smaller) hoodie, even while indoors. Please offer this in more colors.

Warm, well made; one of my go-to's
Love the warmth and the shape of the sweatshirt, especially that it's not tight at the bottom ribbing. I am 5'3" 128lbs. Oddly for me I buy the flannel-lined sweatshirt in petite and the non-lined in regular.

My new favorite
I bought the purple, and love it. It’s soft and I like the weight of this sweatshirt, it’s a bit heavier than a regular one. The zipper seems heavy duty, which is great. The plaid is a nice touch. It does fit a bit larger than I expected.

Best hoodie I've ever had
I bought the green one the other day at the Columbus, Ohio store and it is so comfortable and cozy and soft that I've been wearing it non-stop ever since. I've got three other LL Bean hoodies (one large, two mediums) and they are great but this one is my favorite for sure. Just a note - Both the medium and the large fit me, but the large looked a teeny bit too loose and the medium fit without being too tight.

Best Hoodie I've Ever Worn!
I was most pleasantly surprised to find that the flannel lined hoodie is substantial but very soft. It's the perfect weight for over a long sleeved tee to do errands. I also wear it around the house because with the zip front, I can regulate temp better than with a heavy pull over sweater. If I spent more time outdoors, I might have ordered the fleece style, but the plaid flannel in dark purple fantastic. I usually order XL, but went to a 1W because the 1W has slightly shorter sleeve length. The 1W also allows me to zip the full length without the hem band pulling too tightly. If I had unlimited funds, I'd buy this hoodie in other colors, but I'm absolutely delighted with the purple plaid one. Bean's products wear like iron. I bet I'll be wearing this hoodie 20 years from now.

Best Autumn Sweatshirt.
I ordered a similar sweatshirt fromLLBean years ago. I still wear it but it has gotten a few stains so I decided to get another one. I looked elsewhere but there is none like it. I wanted something warm and sturdy that I could wear this Fall on casual outings anf , of course , this was the winner. I wanted an easy zip up and nothing over the head.

I ordered the Flannel-lined Hoodie in size Small and color Purple. Nice color. Disappointed in the fabric as it's "now" 60% Cotton & 40% Polyester & plaid fabric lining. The Flannel-lined Hoodie I bought a couple years ago was 80% Cotton & 20% Polyester with real flannel lining. So, Returned Hoodie.

Light weight—not real flannel
There are a few pretty nice options for men’s hooded sweatshirts that are more heavy weight and would make reasonable work wear or cold weather wear. It’s disappointing that there’s not something better for women. I got this for my partner and we will probably keep it, but it’s basically just a very lightweight sweatshirt with a plaid pattern inside. She was shocked at the price for what it is.

Nice heavy duty zip up hoodie. Color is great for fall (purple) and stitching and material used to line the inside is top notch. Zipper works great, I’ve had problems with zippers on hoodies from other brands but this one is excellent and seems like it will be durable.

Really nice hoodie—a favourite for me. Some LLBean petite tops seem a bit short to me, but in this case, if you’re on the edge of petite, go for that version as it’s not extra short.
