We've made chino tie shorts more comfortable than ever, in soft-washed organic cotton with stretch for ease. A drawstring elastic waist makes them easy to pull on and looks great too.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for warm-weather fun.

I’m 5’6” and 143 lbs. I got a med. They run a little small around the bum but are pretty cute. I usually have that issue with their shorts. They wash well. Can be dressed up or casual.

Ok but didn't fit my needs.
I wanted shorts I could wear to run and exercise outside and I hate clingy stretchy shorts that fit like tights that are sold as running shorts so I thought I would try regular shorts that were not for running. I ordered a few different styles from LL Bean. For my purposes these were too heavy a fabric. I prefer the Vista shorts because they are so much lighter and have zip pockets.

I originally ordered a womens 18….returned for a regular 18. Womens were too big in crotch; and the 18 was a bit too tight. I loved the material, the color……just could not get a good fit.

Fit Like a Glove
I love these shorts! They fit me absolutely perfectly and they are a great length - not too short and not too long. My rear end isn't sticking out and they are not frumpy long. These wash well and are super comfortable.
I really want to thank LL Bean for staying true to size. My measurements are that of a traditional size 2. I have a more narrow frame and have been getting sized out of so many brands over the years where my 2 becomes a 0 or a 00 or xx-small which is ridiculous. Some stores where I have originally bought a 2 or a 4 years ago, now even the smallest size is too big and I've given up. I am grateful to be able to shop here so easily. I will be buying lots more!!

Love these shorts!
I really like the fit of these shorts! Not loose, but not too fitted. They are a very comfortable, easy wearing pair of shorts. I tried them on when they arrived, then washed and dried. They did not shrink at all. I recommend them!

MY NEW GO-TO SHORTS!
I LOVE these shorts ... love the washed fabric which is like an old comfy blue work shirt but a little heavier!!! They go with everything and are my new go-to shorts! They are a perfect mid-thigh length, have big front pockets & a flexible drawstring waistband. I ordered a size 20W based on measurements but they were HUGE! Returned them for the 18W and they fit perfect!!!

Comfortable. Good shorts, the fit is more straight so they aren’t as roomy at the bottom around my legs. I have a curvy shape with bigger hips. I bought the ttencel shorts along with these and those fit so perfectly, it makes these score a bit less

I love the chambray dock short. They look nice.The short is comfortable, light, but the material is substantial. The length of these shorts are good. Not too short, not too long. Loose fit in leg, not tight, but not too baggy. The only thing that would make this short better, in my opinion, is if you offered this style with a slightly higher waist..
