Good Sturdy Short
Fit is okay (elastic waist not my favorite) but they look and fit decent enough. Good, sturdy material. Easy to match with casual top for at home, or out and about. If bugs allowed I’d consider them fir lite hiking too

Bring back version with Zipper!
I have 5 of these Lakewashed shorts in 4 colors white, khaki, navy, pink and rose). My go to shorts every summer. You discontinued the ones with a zipper and button closure. Why? Elastic waists are for small children or the gym. Bring them back!

Good Shorts With Bulky Back Pockets
I like these shorts, but the back pockets are wrinkled and bunch up, making them a little bulky and uncomfortable when first put them on. They flatten out more after I’ve sat on them for a while. Otherwise, I like the color, fit, and material.

Perfect Summer Short (...esp. for long legs)
I bought these a month ago and have worn them many times since. They will easily be my most worn pants this summer. They are the perfect length for long legs. I am 5'8" and mostly legs. They are not awkwardly long but also not at risk of showing my underwear when I bend down. Grateful for real materials too (cotton!) and think they will last a long time.

Stretch isn’t always better.
I bought these a year or so ago. They felt fine when I first tried them on. Snug fitting. After first wearing them I discovered they were just too heavy. Not comfortable in hot weather like the old sun washed shorts were. And no colors. LLBean shoppers don’t wear colors? So disappointed.

Shorts required washing before wearing because of intense dye. Can't wash them with other items because of the dye issue.
LL Bean should wash the material before manufacturing and selling to customer.

I bought these as they come in size 16 instead of S, M, L, XL. I have to iron the hems after every wash and drying (on low) I wouldn't think I would have to iron. They do fit, however and are good quality.

Good alternative for shorter women

Very comfortable very soft cotton love the pockets and they are great for short person 5feet 2 inches. The length is perfect. I ordered a kaki pair loved them so much I ordered another pair. These are great for hot humid weather. They wash up great and just throw them in the dryer. I will be ordering more. I am very pleased with my purchase and the delivery was perfect.
