Swim shorts/shorts
Love these swim shorts as they cover more than a regular swim bottom. Got navy and black. Mostly use black with tankini top, to cover what getting older did to my body. Love pockets. Back zipper pocket could be bigger, but great for keys. Use navy pair for shorts, very forgiving. Could have more stretch, as is not really very stretchy. I’ll keep both as are easy to throw on and comfortable.

Comfortable shorts
Lightweight and comfortable shorts. I like the split hem and mesh pockets. These are sun proof too. I’d wear them as a swim bottom if there was a mesh liner. I plan on wearing these for kayaking. I got the 5” length. They are perfect for this hot summer.

Very nice shorts BUT….
I really like these shorts, but I wish I’d have just ordered my normal size and been done. I made the mistake of looking at the size chart and went with the size with my waist measurement when I ordered. Huge mistake! I had to go down two sizes to my normal size. The size chart is very misleading. So far, I’ve had three pair in my possession and returned 2 and I am awaiting another smaller pair. Money wasted on shipping.

Ordered a second pair but not the same
Loved the light green shorts so ordered another pair right away since who knows if the style might get discontinued. Super comfortable in Florida steamy weather. The problem was that even ordering the exact same size within a month of the first order, the second pair was way way bigger than the first!

Looks good dry, but clingy when wet
These look fine when they're dry but when they're wet they cling and feel awful. I'm searching for a swimsuit bottom that is tug-free, modest leg opening, and does not require constant adjusting and tugging. Tried BeanSport bottom, ReNew bottom, and Saltwater Essential. Each of those was uncomfortable for basic water activity and/or unflattering.

Wanted them for swim shorts
Weird fit. I have 7 pairs of Vista Camp Shorts that fit great, feel even better while wearing them, and look fairly good on a 70 year old Grammy. I wanted these shorts for swimming until I realized that they didn’t have mesh in them but even if they did, the pockets made them pull weirdly across the top of my thighs.
