Summer time bathing suits

Boy was I surprised!
I was shocked to find there was no bottom to this $100 suit! I was expecting a full bathing suit, and had to rush to order the bottom before I left on vacation. I think you should have had the choice of a bottom linked to the suit, which other wise was nice.

I would purchase this style again.
I like the way this looked but I have a large middle and the inner lining was riding up. I may have needed a larger size but I was afraid a larger size would be too large in the bust.

Nice fit, not quick dry
I like the cut. The gathering in front hides my belly. I wish it had a little better chest support but it'll do. It's said to be quick dry but it is most definitely not.

About my perfect tankini top!
I have a long torso, and just a little bit curvy at this time. I'm active with my kids in the water. This checks all the boxes - supportive with adjustable straps, BUILT IN CUPS - YAY!, and the slight v neck is so flattering. Excellent coverage without being dowdy, I could hang out in this all day...and probably will! For those reviewers said it's so tight, it is supposed to be a compressive fit. I got my usual 14, and it was tight but in the right way.
Would love to see a deep aubergine color with coral orange (think summer sunset), a subtle Americana design, or a white and green botanical with coordinating bottoms (not necessarily same print, but say - striped with same exact color tones, etc...) Thank you LL Bean!

Good for some figures
I love this theoretically. As someone with an ostomy, I was really excited to see a bathing suit that wouldn’t cling and show every bump. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is really long. If you are apple-shaped, I think this would be flattering (and also not hang so low), but if you don’t have extra weight around the middle, it hits below the lower hip.

Mixed feelings
Love the style and fabric of this swimsuit but the underskirt is cut too tight and rides up (especially in the water). I tried to solve the problem by returning the first one and ordering a size larger than I usually wear but the underskirt is still tight. I will probably have to tailor slits in the sides of the underskirt. The top layer is blousy and flattering so I will keep it, but still annoyed that it needs to be adapted to make it wearable.
The suit is also shorter than it appears in the photo. I had expected it to be a little longer.

I didn’t like this tankini top at all. It just wasn’t flattering to my pear shaped body. I thought it would be with the elastic higher on the waist. But it didn’t work. I returned it.

The gathers are below the bust maybe 2 or 3 inches. It gives the appearance of a maternity bathing suit. To look the best and not give that illusion the gathers should extend a couple inches further from center on each side

Not cholorine resistant
I wanted to replace the same top I bought two summers ago, I do swim in chlorine water, the top faded and stretched. Also, the bra support was gone. I decided to sent this one back because I decided not to go through the same problem again. The size I got was alittle tight. I definitely loved the color of the top.
