LLBean Billboard on Chest: Reviewed Only on Looks
Really wanted this jacket but the prominent LLBean logo on the chest changed my mind. I don’t like clothing items advertising a company. Just not my taste and seems to make the item appear as swag.

Fit great until washed
This jacket fit perfectly when I got it but the fabric was stiff and scratchy and the collar too high. I washed it according to the instruction and it softened up quite a bit but it also shrunk horizontally making it much too small. I was sorry to have this result because I liked the cut and fit and I expected better for the price.

Ugly label you pay triple for in Canada
I love the colours, but not the ugly, big, colourful label that you slap on everything. Does the management think that people will buy clothes more when they see the ugly label on others?? What happened to the gently embroidered name? No need to push a new brand, you already have one...
I checked the US site for other colours of the sweater and - the exact same sweater costs USD53.99 with 50% off, while here it's CAD175. Wow!! Even with the exchange rate, shipping and customs it doesn't come close in price. I guess Canada can pay triple...

Sweater fleece in beautiful pattern
This sweater fleece caught my eye due to the striking color patterns. These are warm and keep me comfortable in the winter. Good for layering. My only complaint is that the collar stands a bit high, although that might be okay for outdoor wear. I am 5'4" and purchased the size small which is typical for me with Bean products. Also - I love all of the pockets!

Versatile, classy sweater fleece jacket
classy-looking comfy zip fleece; I love these. I have gained weight & I am 4'11" so petite L fits pretty well. I removed the LLBean logo (my apologies, Bean) because it didn't seem to go with this jacket. I wear these with every kind of tee underneath. Very versatile. Zip pockets are a must for me-my phone is kept at hand. I live in the NE so I can wear this as is, or under a larger coat in winter. Dress it up or down.

Great soft shell jacket! Love it!
This has gotten more wear than many recent LL Bean purchases. It's really warm and comfortable, and good for all seasons (except the below zero weather.) I've worn it when it's in the teens with wool sweater under it and was toasty warm. I've also worn it as a cover up at the beach (ok, Maine beaches). I love this and would buy another similar!

Great Print!
The attractive birds eye print was a welcome addition to the LL Bean lineup! It pairs perfectly with the navy straight leg sweatpants to make an outfit that is appropriate for running errands and a lunch out with friends. Both the jacket and pants wash and dry well. I am between a medium and large size — my only wish was that LL Bean “large” was 12-14 instead of 14-16!

A Classic Sweater in a Zip Up with Pockets !

I ordered the navy birdseye print. I am fair skinned with grayish blonde hair, and the color is perfect for me. It fits true to size--I am 5'1" 130 lbs. and the petite large fits nicely, allowing room for layering underneath. Sleeve length is perfect. It is warm and comfy. I know I will get a lot of wear out of this garment this winter.

Great addition to my wardrobe.
Love this piece. I've been using it as a jacket/outer layer, but once it gets a lot colder, I'll use it as a mid-layer. I live in the Colorado mountains, and layering is key to staying warm (but not overheating) when doing various activities. Seems a bit too bulky, IMHO, to use for Alpine skiing, but time will tell. Works for hiking, or just out-and-about use. Turquoise is "my" color, so it goes well with what I already have.
