New jacket for grandson!
This was a Christmas gift for my grandson who is now a grown man. The last LL Bean winter jacket I bought him he was a Sr. in highschool. He had worn it for years. He is v happy with his new jacket. The large tall fits perfect. He loves the hood. Loves the sherpa lining. He said the lining makes it instantly warm when he puts it on.It is the perfect winter jacket for a Minnesota winter survivor!

Extremely pleased.
I've gone through various coats to get me through Chicago's winter. This one is the best because of its combination of excellent warmth and lightness. I'm 83 years old. Heavy coats are hard for me to put on. Because of its light weight, this one is easy. The fleece lining makes it feel very cozy.

Cool Style for a Teen
Love this jacket- bought for my grandson and he liked both this jacket and another one. He bought one and before we left town he decided to swap for the this jacket that was more puffy as he loved both! He loves the Sherpa hoody as it was warm going to outside events.

This is a great coat.
I bought this coat because I wanted something that lacked the usual shiny puffer shell- yet was warm and light like a down puffer. This coat is great: (1) It regulates temperature very well and is warm even in the 20's (F) without feeling claustrophobic in the car, (2) the shell kept out 20 mph winds, (3) I was hesitant because it did not have a chest zipper pocket, but the chest pocket is deep and secure enough for my phone that I don't even bother to snap it- I actually like it better because I don't have to unzip a pocket to get to the phone, (4) the sherpa lining is very comfortable although the back lining does snag your shirt as you try to put the coat on- sleeve lining is smooth so no problem there, (5) the cord and leather piece for the hood allow the coat to seem slightly more appropriate in dressier clothes situations, than a normal puffer, and (6) it fits well; I got the medium versus my usual large and was happy I did. It fits even over normal layers (I wear 33-inch sleeves, 42-inch chest, have a medium build with a bit of a dad bod belly).

Early signs are good!
I brought this a week ago since I needed a warm winter coat. I am very picky with my coats. I prefer utility over style. I went back and forth between a few coats at the store, however, this coat had the best fit and function. They were sold out of black so I got the Blue one. Paired it with a yellow beanie and it’s been stuck on my back like glue. I love how warm it keeps me in these cold windy temperatures. Around 19-32 F, since I purchased the coat.

Great Fit & Super Warm Jacket
I bought this jacket recently and couldnt be more happy with it. It fits great, has a real nice look and isnt made of that shiny material so many puffer type jackets are made of and it fits perfectly. I also really like the elastic fabric cuffs at the end of the sleeves and the bronze color of the zipper is really nice too. Lastly, the jacket is one of the warmest Ive ever owned and is made really well. The sherpa lining is awesome. Only downside is the sherpa gets hung up on the clothing on your back every time you put it on, but besides that it is just a really nice and warm jacket!

Awkward Fit
This is a great looking jacket. I'm 5'11, 185 lbs. My chest measures 44" and I have a 33" waist. I ordered a large. The sleeve length seemed fine, the chest area fit fine, however, there was way too much material between the chest and the waist. This fit is geared for a person that is much larger and needs extra room in the belly. Even with the drawstrings pulled, it looked like a balloon. Even the arms were baggy. I'd try a size medium, but I'm just not sold on the fit.

Husbands favorite coat!
Great coat! My husband absolutely loves it! We were looking for something durable and fleece lined. The hood and the inside of the coat are fleece lined. The inside of the sleeves are not lined with fleece however the overall coat is warm and looks just like the pictures!

Favorite Jacket I’ve ever owned
Bought this last January - not for lack of trying, this bad boy sells out quick and I got lucky when I found one my size -!; preferred color after 6 weeks of looking. It is incredibly warm, the Sherpa lining very soft. Fits to size (I am 5’9, 150 lbs and S fits great). Truly my favorite jacket and I finally have one warm enough for sub 30 degree days. It got frigid cold for our area (Virginia) and temps dropped into teens and single digits with the wind chill, but this was warm enough for sure!

Warmest jacket I've ever owned
My marmot jacket was falling apart and really like the LLBean insulated flannel shirts, so thought I'd give this jacket a try and it's simply incredible. The pile is fluffy and firm, the insulation is warm without being bulky, and pockets are also lined, which is nice for when I don't have gloves on .

Warm stylish jacket but missing some functionality
I bought this jacket after watching travel bloggers A&K on YouTube where they wear the same jacket. It is warm and high quality. My primary complaint is that the choice of buttons on the hand pockets loses functionality; I feel like my belongings are always at danger of falling out. In addition, I would have loved to seen an interior zip pocket. It is my go to place for storing my wallet in the winter.
I think it's a great more stylish option from LLBean for casual every-day use, but if your adventurer I'd look for something with more functionality.

Great coat and would buy again.
With Ohio temperatures dipping down in the negatives again this winter I decided to buy a winter coat that was “dressier” than my ragged Carhart to wear around town and to the office. I made a good choice as I love this coat. It looks great and keeps me warm. I never owned a winter coat with a hood, so I’m pleasantly surprised how much I actually use it. As other reviews mention, the lack of an inside pocket and single button outer pockets are a bummer, but I’m not expecting the perfect coat at this price point. I don’t think this coat will hold up to physical garage chores or hiking through greenbriers and brush but it’s definitely a fun coat for all other non-impact activities. I’m 6’2 and 175lbs and purchased a size Large. The Large fits true to size, good across the shoulders, and is not tight in the armpits. If you want to layer up with bulky layers get the XL. I wanted the blue but only had green in my size. Glad I bought it anyway.

A very warm jacket
I like everything about this jacket, although I would like a bit more room for layers. It does fit well over a long underwear top and a medium wool sweater. The jacket’s fleece is warm enough with that combo that I have to unzip it in 25 degree weather once I get moving. The outer shell seems sturdy, and the pockets work well. I imagine with face covering it would be comfy to 10 degrees. I especially like the outer chest pocket. So it would be rated a 5 with a touch more room. But that is slimming, I suppose.
