I bought this jacket many years ago and am thinking about getting another one. It’s the kind you layer underneath on cold days, and on rainy days you’ll need an umbrella since it’s not very insulated. It’s a 3/4-length casual zip-down jacket with no hood and no extra inside pockets, just two buttoned pockets on the outside.

Great value and perfect weight for running around
Great value, light and comfortable... and warm. I wear the collar up mostly for extra warmth. I wish it was a tiny bit fuller or more body but it's been fine.

way thinner than it looks in the photos
This jacket is so thin that I don't think it should be considered a puffer. Disappointed because this wasn't clear at all in the photos or in the description. It's one thing for a puffer to be lightweight — that's a common word used in puffer advertisements — but this is completely flat. Super sad bc this was a gift sent to a different state, so the person who got the gift is gonna have to go through the trouble of exchanging.

Bought a year ago. Lining in sleeves 2" longer, lining through to bid, bad fit. After 4 times, struggling with this, ( my husband needs help putting on) but even so, I could have repaid the entire singing, but guess what threw it away. Clothes are poor," just for jack pine savages" DAHHBH

No zip pockets and no chest pocket
What can I say? I have the older version of this jacket with zip pockets and a chest pocket for earbuds, phones me etc. as well as brand name insulation. This has none of that. Looks like LL Bean has become LL Boo!

Perfect coat, but not too heavy.

Like the jacket except for snap pockets
Jacket replaces an older LL Bean one. Weight and size spot-on, but not the snap pockets. Prefer zipper as easier to close, especially with my manual dexterity issues. Would like like to have had an inner pocket, even if small. Otherwise, pleased with it.

Incredibly warm jacket and very light weight. Can be worn as an outer coat or for layering. Between my wife and myself, we have 5. Highly recommend and reasonably priced. The only negative is that they can tear easily in the woods or heavy labor, and there is no repair..just white stuffing sticking out....so we have used tape.

Bought at the start of winter. Warm coat until it gets into the single digits. Two improvement s I would recommend are zippered pockets instead of snaps. One inside chest pocket for phone/wallet and a nicer finish on the sleeves/cuff that is more wind proof. Current finish looks like the jacket is a liner for a heavier coat.
