Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warm lightweight coat This coat was a replacement for my original purchase. My original coat shed down on my shirts which was a big problem. I have had my replacement coat for about a month and this one has not displayed the same issue with down being deposited on my shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing coat I own several winter coats and this is the best coat I have ever owned. The color, the fit, and the warmth is amazing. Next year I will buy a second one of a different color. The size runs true

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shed a lot Nice and toasty but large amount of down filling shed from jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cozy in VT Jacket is very warm and functional. It is easy to be active while wearing or at rest. It is stylish and reasonably priced. The only downside is with plastic zippers... I personally do not like plastic zippers, but most jackets now seem to have all switched to this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps me warm and dry in single digits It’s been a cold winter in Western NY and this jacket has kept me warm and dry. I’ve worn it in single digits as well as wet snow. I’ve worn it skiing, snowshoeing as well as around town.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cold weather jacket. Lightweight and very warm. Excellent for cold morning walks in the woods. Was looking for something lightweight, warm and durable and this coat didn’t disappoint. I haven’t worn it in any precipitation yet, but am sure it will work well. I would definitely buy it again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great coat I’ve had this coat for a few years and love it! I’m I 5’2” woman about 180 lbs. I hate how women coats are cut - I have a men’s large. I often wear hoodies under it and don’t feel squished. Keeps me warm playing outside or bus duty. The arm pit vents are great when you get hot but it’s still cold out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Coat Nice coat. I thought it might be a little warmer though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty warm. Great winter jacket. Warm, waterproof and wind resistant. XLT fits my 6’5” frame well. Plenty of pockets for gloves and gear. Packable too! Anticipating many years of use as is the case with all my LL Bean gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm coat in extreme weather. 5 stars for a reason! It's the best warmest coat my husband has ever owned. He loves it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely satisfied Great coat. Very happy with it. It was much more expensive than the others I tried on. Decided to take this one and try it out. I have since fallen in love with this coat and since I live in WI there will be plenty of cold weather in which to use it. It’s made very well like all my Bean apparel. It fits well, great fitting hood, and warm! There is nothing I don’t like about it. It is expensive but I will have it for many years so it’s worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but liner leaks feathers I wanted something that was light and packable for travel. This cost fits the bill. Needed to size up so I had sufficient room for a sweater or sport coat. Coat is sufficiently warm, but the lining looks and feels cheap, and leaks way too many feathers. Put in a decent lining, charge a few dollars more, this would be a five star coat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from low quality feathers started coming out on the 3rd day of usage... its as if the product was designed to rip off... literally as well as the customers pockets. For that price, its a shame to come up with products like this

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very pleased This parka cost a little more than I wanted to spend but it’s worth every penny. On a recent trip when it was very cold and wet, it kept me warm and dry without a lot of bulk or weight. My only concern is the zipper. For $240, I expected a metal zipper of better quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COLD-KILLER COAT This coat is so warm that you think that you are in Florida when wearing it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Jacket - Poor Zipper Construction Love the Jacket but the Zipper Broke after about the 15th day is use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest below 0* I love this coat for the below 30* temps. Recently darn near or below 0*, and very warm and comfortable. One problem: I am short, 5'3", and it only has a single zipper, not one where you can open the coat at the bottom (double zipper). There is a chance that I could rip the bottom open, because of this. Really, LLBean, for the price of this coat, you could have done better. But so far, no rips, getting into and out of the car.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket but feather leakage is an issue. This is a nice Jacket but feather leakage is an issue, so I returned it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For colder places This jacket is well-made, as it should be, considering the high price. And attractive too. It is remarkably light weight, and quite warm. I returned it as it would be too warm for my needs, and bulkier than I'd like. The fit is trim, so you can't wear much more than a light sweater under it. I also didn't want the hassle of washing down, preferring easy-care synthetic insulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm really pleased.. I couldn't be more happy than I am with this parka, It's warm, waterproof and very comfortable to wear. I also have a Baxter State Parka that's sometimes too warm for our weather, but this one is perfect. Recently, we've experienced near zero wind chill temps and I've been warm and dry wearing this jacket. My only concern is with the zipper, for $329 I would expect a quality metal zipper not a well made but plastic zipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost too warm! Too warm for everyday but fantastic when the temps dip below 15F! Slightly bulky, but super warm and light weight. Really like the finish, feels like it is fairly weather proof!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat I’ve been living in Northern Florida for the past few years and went back to Connecticut this past December for the holidays and needed a new winter coat for the colder weather. Needless to say Connecticut was in a cold snap, and the temperature was in the low teens to single digits. This coat kept me warm and dry. It’s a good coat even for Northern Florida where we get occasional cold snaps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty Jacket Have had this jacket two years and is by far the warmest and driest jacket I have owned. Pit zips are always open if I am doing any sort of strenuous activity. Just shoveled my driveway in a t shirt and blue jeans in 12F and had the pit zips wide open. I usually wear a tall but opted for regular and am glad I did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT WARMTH Love the jacket, but it should have the double zipper. Hard to reach your wallet pocket!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waterproof Ultralight Down Jacket Review I like the jacket, however, it is not as warm as I expected. It was listed as warmest in the catalog. I have a Rugged Ridge, which was also listed as warmest in the catalog, but it is much warmer than this Ultralight Down jacket.
