Great for Golf

I bought the red color in January. It’s very warm, comfortable and well made, It’s one of few fleeces on the market that has an appropriate body length (it doesn’t have an overly long body length designed for men over 6 feet tall in size medium). Unfortunately, it does have sleeves that are at least 3 inches too long. They must be 36” or longer. The sleeve material is thick and this is a cold weather garment so rolling up the sleeves is impractical, looks disheveled and defeats the purpose of wearing a warm garment. I try turning the sleeves back under a few inches but this is difficult because of the cheap elastic band around the wrists. Why do manufacturers insist on making the body and sleeves overly long on these those of garments? 90% of men are below 6 feet tall. Nowadays, many people wear things like this to work or social gatherings and don’t want it to look sloppy. Well made and I would buy it again in a different color (if they were ever in stock). But please do something about the sleeve length.

Zero durability
I *want* to love this pullover. It's ultra comfortable, looks great, and fits well. Problem is, after the very first wash/dry cycle the stitching on one of the bands on the cuffs began to unravel. After just 2 washes you can see that it's progressed to about 1.5 inches of the banding. I'll continue to wear the pullover, as again it's an item I really liked out of the package. But it's obviously not built to last. Could be that I just got a bad one, but I can't recommend it unfortunately.

Good fit for a traditional fleece.
Comfortable good fit. I am a 6'2" 250# man and wear an XL tall size. This is warm without being too hot. This is a traditional style fleece fabric. L.L. Bean needs to update their description of the multiple different types and weights of Fleece with close up pics of all the material types. I had to go the the store in person to see the difference before I ordered.

Nice pullover
Bought this pullover for my high schooler grandson for his travel basketball games. He really likes it, at first he was apprehensive because he wasn’t familiar with the LL Bean name but once he was complemented on it how nice it is he wears it more often and tells me how much he likes it. He is 6’3 wide in the shoulders 175lbs, I bought XL would recommend it to a friend.

My new favorite fleece
I wear this fleece all the time now. It is a perfect fit, loose like a fleece should be. It is warm but not too warm to wear indoors. I get lots of compliments on the color. It appears to be well-made and should last a long time.

My adult sons love these fleece pullovers. One son wears them all the time and only wears a packable winter jacket over it when it's really cold out. You can't beat the quality, looks and durability. His birthday is in January, but I always order in December to get the best color and size before they sell out for Christmas.
