Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. LL Bean Chamois Shirt - Still The Best
I normally wear a size large, regular fit, and took a chance on this “slightly fitted” version and am happy with the fit and finish of this shirt. Although not designed for layering, there is room enough for a tee shirt underneath without feeling snug, with a nice silhouette whether tucked in or untucked. I’ve always considered the Bean chamois shirt to be the standard by which all others are compared and have owned several over the years. Glad to see this classic “deer skin” color in the lineup.

Don’t ignore the reviews!
This was a special gift for my husband, a bit extravagant for our budget, but I had previously bought him a red one that he loves so I splurged on the grey. The size, the color the design is exactly what he wanted, but unlike the first one we bought, this one gets wrinkled hard in the laundry and it does not iron out easily. I had read something like that in the reviews, but ignored it-I don’t mind ironing. I shouldn’t have! It’s not easy to iron and I’m not happy with the outcome. Fortunate my husband isn’t as fussy as I am. Such a disappointment!

Nice Shirt!
It's made of heavy cotton and feels almost like a blanket. It'll be great when really cold weather arrives. Although it is "slightly fitted," it still feels a little too roomy for me, but I have a slender build.

Love the new fit
Just bought a couple of the fitted Chamois shirts. Years ago I had these before the fitted option and they were too roomy for me. The fitted still has the great thick, soft material with a much more fitted fit! I'm 6'1 205 and bought the large long. Perfect fit! Great shirts!

Nice shirt
This is a nice shirt to wear for work or to look nice on the town. I am 6'1 185 lbs and the Medium tall was a bit too long at the hemline so I exchanged for a regular medium. There slim fit is a must if you don't want to look like you are wearing a bag, the traditional fit clothes from ll bean do not work for me .
