Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Best Chamois Shirts!
Great shirt! Have worn Bean chamois shirts for many years (worn a few out) and always appreciate the quality. I may need to lose a few pounds to wear this Slightly Fitted Men's Regular or reorder a traditional fit unfortunately.

Great shirt but too long
The L. L. Bean chamois shirts are very well constructed, but they are too long. I would encourage L. L. Bean to offer an "untucked" version of this shirt. In fact, I do not know anyone that actually tucks in these shirts. The regular size length is about 2" too long, even if it were to be tucked in.

Good quality shirt but was too long. I am average height at 5'10" and the tail came down to mid thigh. Would have been more appropriate for a taller person.

Shirt great but pocket too short!!
My husband loves these shirts and has bought them for at least 20 years. The slim fit is great. However the pocket is too short to fit his phone safely! Phone can fall out. Please fix this.

I bought this chamois for my approx 20 year old LL Bean chamois still in excellent shape. Shocked upon arrival.... The old one on the scale weighs 2.4 times the new one. Our heaviest weight chamois.... yeah right!

My go-to for fall weather
This slightly fitted chamois shirt is an excellent fit for me at 6'1" and 185 lbs. Perfect warmth for cooler days (mid 40s to mid 50s). Nice soft feel. The only way to improve it in my opinion would be to make the pockets deep enough to fit modern day smartphones.

LL Bean Chamois Shirt - Still The Best
I normally wear a size large, regular fit, and took a chance on this “slightly fitted” version and am happy with the fit and finish of this shirt. Although not designed for layering, there is room enough for a tee shirt underneath without feeling snug, with a nice silhouette whether tucked in or untucked. I’ve always considered the Bean chamois shirt to be the standard by which all others are compared and have owned several over the years. Glad to see this classic “deer skin” color in the lineup.
