Good idea. Really bad execution. Bought 6 pairs because I heard the sizing was erratic. Beyond anything. Tight waist huge legs. Right legs wrong waist. I thought several pairs…only one sort of fit. Rest were returned. I tried again. Two bought. Two went back. Don’t even try!!

Fleece-lined jeans
Fleece-lined jeans. The lining pushed out the bottom of the pant leg instead of staying inside. Your feet with or without socks get hung up inside the pant leg making them very difficult to put on. I have two pairs of flannel lined jeans that fit and function perfectly.

Disappointed
I bought 3 different colored pairs of Double L fleece lined jeans over 10 years ago and they are in good shape, but getting a little tight around the waist.
I decided to try the Beanflex jeans, as the Double L are only available in one color now. The waist and inseam were fine, but the fit is terrible. They do not feel right. The fleece lining is so loose that it comes out of the legs when I put them on. They feel like two pairs of pants, one inside of the other.
I was going to buy another color if the price came down, now I would not buy them at any price.
I have been a customer for 60 years, I guess I'm done.

I like these jeans -- the fit is good -- but the fleece lining is loose, which makes them hard to put on. And the lining often sticks out of the pant leg's bottom.

Design flaws and not warm
The design is flawed. The lining is not attached to the pants along the side seams inside the legs. The lining just hangs inside the legs and gets stuck on your socks when you try to put on the jeans. The lining itself is very thin and not warm. I really liked the color and cut of the jeans otherwise, and would wear the unlined version, but this "fleece" lined version is a complete failure. Returned.

These are actually the most comfortable pants I own. They actually feel like sweatpants. You could theoretically go to the gym and work out in them, and then go out to a nice fancy restaurant.

Purchased 33/29 pants. Washed them and inseam measured 27”. They are warm and comfortable but I would advise buying a little longer than needed.

These were lined mens jeans, to be used for hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling etc. The lining was the problem. It was not the usual cotton flannel lining I expected. It was a knit fabric. The lining in the legs of the jeans either stretched as they were put on (over long underware), or excess lining material had been sewed into the leg seams

Lining bunches up!
a bit tight in the hips compared to my other jeans of similar style, but my big complaint is that there's too much liner fabric, and you can't get them on unless you take your socks off- the fleece catches wool and cotton and the lining bunches up.

The lining is terrible. Like two stretchie bags.
The lining is terrible. It's like two stretchie bags inside the jeans. It's not attached to the jeans. A couple years ago I ordered a pair where they were sewn together properly with the lining sewed into the side and inside leg seams.. A year ago I had to sew the lining in from the top down as far as I could go then up from the bottom of the legs, which took me a couple of hours. This year it only took me a little over an hour. If you don't do this your toes get caught on the lining and it hangs out of the bottom. When I ordered a pair this year I asked about that problem. She said she believed that had been discussed and corrected. That was not the case. I can't believe LLBean would sell such jeans. Once this tailoring has been done they are very comfortable.

These were fabric-lined, and the fabric clung to my socks, so hung below the cuff. Ugly and annoying. I returned them and found an actual fleece pair similar to what I purchased some years ago.

Gamechanger in the wrong direction
Everything about the pants is great as usual, but the new "fleece" lining is a game changer. If you have socks on you have to struggle to get your foot in the pants. My husband has strength and mobility issues, and couldn't even get his foot through the pants leg until he learned to step into them barefooted. We'll keep them, but please bring back the flannel lining.

I hate these jeans.
These jeans are awful. To fix the problem, the lining needs to be attached to the denim. When you put your legs in, the lining gets caught, pushing it down and your foot gets stuck. To remedy this, you have to reach in with your hand from the cuff, push the lining aside then feed your foot through the tangled lining.
