Cozy and comforting
It's odd that one should find solace in a rag wool knit, but aside from season or lower temperatures, the softness and weight of this sweater creates, somehow, a distinct sense of place. No, there aren't any chemical enhancements involved here, merely a stream of memories induced by the warmth, comfort, and tidy casual styling that, again somehow, engenders a feeling of ease and relaxation to long days of concentration intermittently offset by walks in brisk weather and nature's sounds and rhythms. Warm and looks good!
Got one to keep me warm during the winter. Have used when going out and have not been disappointed. In recent times I have had durability problems with LLB products, so my fingers are crossed. But so far, warm, and looks good, and no problem with seams unraveling. Looong time customer of LLB and have, sadly, have noted a definite decline in quality. Fingers crossed til I get more use.

Color doesn’t even remotely photos
Nice construction. The “natural” color is wildly different than what is pictured. The photos show “natural” as a warm cream color. Actual item received was a dull grayish brown that is cool enough to border on being blueish. The difference is more than can be explained by lighting/natural variation. The photos on the site are actively misleading.

Warmer than a hug from your favorite grandmama. Walked into work with this bad boy on, and left a new man. Style meets aesthetic. I would challenge Bear Grylls to a hike through Mt. Everest with this bad boy. Not only will I be warmer, but I’ll be shining brighter than the rays of the sun itself. Knitted with exceptionalism, I felt like origami was threaded on my body in the form of a small lamb. Lambs wool to cool for your average pedestrian. Make sure your wearing socks when you wear this bad boy, because brother, it’s gonna knock the socks off ya.

My new ragg wool sweater has become my "go to" garment to wear around the house during the colder months. Gas heat can be so drying. I like to lower the thermostat to 62 degrees. My ragg wool sweater keeps me toasty warm. I worried that the chunky weave would stretch out of shape over time and sag. Not so. It fits as well as the day it arrived. This one's a keeper!

this sweater is thick and soft, usually order xl in wool sweaters from LL Bean, but reading reviews and looking at the pictures it runs big, so I went with a large and the fit is perfect, I'm 5'7" around 190lbs, probably could of ordered the medium and if you are 30lbs lighter than me would definitely order a medium, this sweater is a nice replacement for a sport coat, or with a long sleeve t shirt, very versatile piece of clothing,

This thing is so cozy!
I bought this in an oversized man's version to combat a chilly house. It's soft and substantial. Yes, soft wool does pill (that's part of the nature of soft and fuzzy fibers), but it's totally worth a bit of tidying now and then. A competitor is selling a similar sweater, but it includes nylon, which is why I chose this one, and I'm not disappointed. The one I received is a dark, marled deep navy, not tealish at all, and not purple.
