It's rare to find a comfy slipper built this tough. The cozy fleece lining and super-soft cushioning alone make these the perfect choice for lounging around at home. But we didn't stop there. We added a water-resistant upper, a rugged Bean-Boot-inspired chain-tread outsole for superior traction and our classic triple-needle stitching for durability. An unusual disappointment

Quality is Still Okay
My mom was excited to receive these for Christmas. Quality is good, but has gone downhill some, as I’ve purchased the Mountain Slipper for my father a few times now over the years. LLBean needs to focus on the quality of their products, as it’s gone downhill and this is the first year I’ve noticed that.

Exactly what I hoped for
These were a Christmas gift. They are warm and toasty, sturdy, and well made. The soles are perfect for a quick trip to the mailbox. They fit perfectly. They are supportive enough that they don’t hurt my feet even if I wear them all day.

Love, love, love these booties! the blue works great w/ jeans and they are so comfy and warm! mold right to your feet, no break in time needed. well made and i think they will last a long time. true to size. the sherpa is throughout the inside of the boot and the sole is going to last. easy to put on....can't say anything bad about these booties.

L.L.Bean - Women's Mountain Slippers, Boot Mocs
These slippers are really nice. Comfy right out of the box. I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly with room at the toe to spare. The toe box is wide enough to allow my toes to move freely. They look & feel real sturdy, tread on bottom is perfect thickness. The front upper part needs to be broken in as far as stiffness along the top of the ankle, but after only one day of wearing them they softened right up. The first time you put them on you will need to use the little finger tab on the back, but after that I was able to get them on with just sticking my finger inside the back.
You might think $71 (with disc coupon) is a lot for slippers but… I own a pair of gortex boots from LL Bean, they are 32 yrs old and still kicking. I think I paid $150 for them back in the day, had them resoled once. So if those can last that long, I think $71 for a pair of slippers is the right amount. I doubt I will get 32 years out of these, I’m rough on slippers but I’d be happy with 5 years. Very highly recommended…

Difficult to Put On
When I put these on, the heel section folds forward, making it extremely difficult to just slip on. I have to grab the heel loop and hold it up and back. Very inconvenient. Once in, they are comfortable. I am back to mostly wearing my UGG boots.
The size may be a little large but I like to wear wool socks as the house is cool.

Warm and easy to get on and off. The outdoor sole keeps you warm even if you step outside. Not at all slippery on the bottom. True to size, so order a size up if you plan to wear them with thick winter socks.

For the right person this is a beautiful slipper… It is what I wanted in style, keeping my ankles warm as well as my feet. They are well-made however, BUT I wanted to be able to do one QUICK pull on the back tab to get them on and OH NO, for me there was too ugh of a struggle to pull them on

I wear 8.5/9 however the 9 were too big. I the insoles are removable so I can use my own inserts/orthotics. The slipper is warm and easy to pull on. The rubber bottom is non-slip and doesn’t squeak in wood floors.

As soon as I got these slippers I wanted to put them on! But I had to figure out how to get them on!
All you have to do is put your index finger in the loop on the back a pull up when you stick your foot in the slipper! And they slip right on!
They are so comfortable and cozy. When at home I wear them all the time.

Best “House Shoes” I’ve ever owned!
When these arrived I thought they were hard to put on because of the top. However, after just a few times they became easy to slip into and they are roomy enough for socks if I want. The flexibility of having the nice sole is a game changer. I purchased these for our Mountain house and I can go out with the dog in the light snow and not have to deal with changing shoes. I put them on in the mornings and only take them off if I’m running into town although I really think they would be fine for that as well. LOL! If you are on the fence about these, go for it.
