Very warm, needs an under layer little scratchy without.

Comfortably warm
6'4" 260lbs accidentally ordered 3xl when I usually wear 2xl. Turns out the only thing I had to do was roll the cuff up about an inch and I'm perfectly happy with the fit. I do like a roomy fit but it's not "baggy". Perfect for layering. No itch at all with the merino but don't expect it to feel like poly fleece. Warm when outside but breaths and doesn't make you sweat indoors.

Great sweater by slights scratchy
High quality with a nice thickness. I’m using it primarily as a mid-layer for skiing. I would say it’s a little on the scratchy side. Doesn’t bother me as a mid-layer but might bother some people.

Warm, large, but a little scratchy
I'm a very tall person and it is nice to find a piece that fits. I'm 6'7" with a 45" chest and the Large Tall fits me quite well.
The color is nice (I went with olive) and it's made well.
I will say the description of it being soft enough to be next to your skin is overblown. I'm not sure if it's a low grade of merino or what, but the Ragg wool sweater with the shawl collar is much much nicer against the skin. It's also not a deal breaker, but don't go thinking you won't want an undershirt

Warm and comfortable
This has been the best wool purchase I've made for hunting. I use it as my mid layer for insulation. I get cold easy and since adding this to my layering system I can sit much longer in the woods. It's high quality real wool. Super odor resistant as well. Once temps drop i don't go hunting without it. I pack it in and put it on at the tree

Warm and cozy
I like the heftiness of this sweater. I bought a few to wear on very cold hunting days in the treestand. Fits like a glove. If I were to wear casually or just more relaxed, I may consider a large, but the medium is perfect for my usage. Not too small, just right. I prefer merino wool for my under garments and mid-layer gear because of the moisture magement capabilities of the wool, as well as the ability to resist odor retention...much, much better than polyester or cotton materials.

A quality wool sweater
My husband is a short stocky build. 5’ 7” Got this sweater in a large. The sleeves are slightly long for his arms, but the material doesn’t bunch up too much. Everything else about it is amazing - the color, the style.

Based on a cursory inspection, it should be well received. I like the pocket for his ubiquitous cellphone. It should keep him warm when doing outdoor things.. Not crazy about the color, but his mother-in-law should love the pastel blue/gray lol.

Warm, good fit & bonus pocket
What caught my eye was the pocket. I’ve had several wool sweaters like this one. However, none had a pocket & I wanted more storage when I was in the woods. The fit was excellent, nice and long to keep you warm. I hope to enjoy the sweater for many years.

Thick and durable feeling. Weird sizing.
Thick and substantial feel. The sizing is all off. I’m 5’11 and 200 lbs and the large was entirely too big. Not slightly roomy, I mean it felt like an XL. By the time I returned it the cold snap was over so I didn’t get a chance get a medium. I’ll try again next winter.

Very warm and comfortable. However, it was too large for a Medium sweater (too long and too bulky in the mid-section). I would recommend ordering down one size in order to get an optimal fit. Also, it would be a much more attractive sweater if it did not have the ugly pocket on the front. I wish they would offer a similar sweater without the front pocket.
