No idea for a name for this coat.
This coat was a gift. It fits well!! Love the length. Keeps me nice and warm. The elastic around the wrists keeps snow etc from going up my sleeves. And this winter that is good with all the snow we have had. The wind has been strong for long periods of time and the hood has been very handy to keep me dry n warm. Love this coat!!!

Arms too short
I am 5’10”. I wear a M. The arm length is about 2” too short. I really wish LL Bean made a tall or long size for women to get the proportions right. The jacket is best for late fall (November) but not for frigid winter temps.

All Around Great Coat
I bought this coat in December and love it. It is a medium weight coat that is sufficiently long to keep your torso warm. It is very light weight and comfortable. I like it for around town use as it is not so bulky or hot that you can run into the grocery store and you don't roast to death. It is comfortable in the car. It is great for dog walking. Dog hair does not stick to it - yay! The hood is big enough to keep your face dry from precipitation. It is the first coat in the closet that you want to grab. The only thing that might be an issue is that it is cut a little on the slim side. I weigh between 132-135 lbs, am 5'6" and purchased a medium. It fits me fine but would not be perfect with a really bulky or heavy sweater. Also, it you are full hipped, you might want to go up a size. I don't really think this is a coat for playing sports in but rather for a relaxing day.

Fabulous coat
I bought this coat in November in brown and am so delighted with it. It is very warm even on blustery New York City winter days and is also fashionable. I get compliments on it all the time. The hood fits well and really does the job without flattening my hair. The pockets are deep and hold a cell phone comfortably—and have zippers for extra security. Just love it.

Quality missed the mark
I knew as soon as I opened the package and felt the material that it would not work for my trip to Capitol Reef. The material is so thin that any snag would rip it. I can't believe how disappointed I am with the quality. I also think the cut is much narrower and not true to size. For this price point, I was expecting better quality. It also arrived with a lot of frays on the stitches, what a disappointment. I think if you are purely wanting a flattering jacket, go ahead and buy it. However, it is not durable. I expected so much more from LLBean.

size up! I bought a true to size L and cannot fit any layers under. im 5'10" and about 180lbs and wish I had bought an XL for more room, otherwise it fits perfectly. im also a bit miffed that an LL Bean coat that costs this much DOESNT HAVE an interior pocket. wish I had returned, but missed the window. its a fine coat and the hood is nice.

Lots to love
The coat really meets my needs and looks great on. The silhouette is flattering, even though I have an apple shape. I needed something to wear when my usual down jacket seems a little too casual. The cost, which I bought in black, will be perfect for those occasions. Changing the type and color of a scarf or turtleneck sweater, gloves, etc. can give it just about any look or any occasion. That being said, I read the reviews carefully and agree that it is is not particularly warm. The fleece lining does help add warmth, but it’s nowhere near the warmth of any down outerwear.It’s the kind of thing you’d wear from the car into a restaurant, or with a very warm light sweater underneath. That’s fine with me. It does everything I wanted to do.

Nice coat, but not for me
This is a lovely coat, but it is fleece lined. I wear fleeces all winter for casual wear, and I didn't like the feel of wearing fleece over fleece. Otherwise, I would have kept the coat.

Buy one size larger and wear thick sweater
Love this coat, but on days when temperatures are below 50 Fahrenheit I wish I had bought one of the Warmest coats LLB offers. If I had room inside the coat to wear both a thick sweater AND a fleece vest, that would be better.

Handsome but not warm
This is a nice-looking coat, but it might be warm only when the weather is above 30 degrees F. I've worn it a couple of times while walking for 15 minutes or so in 20-30 F weather and it was not warm, even with a wool sweater underneath. It feels like the insulation is not in the sleeves.

Long winter coat
It is very comfortable with a warm hood. I love the fact that the sleeves are
not lined with fleece-makes it easier to put on. Also like the zipper from the bottom to unzip while sitting less strain in the zipper. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a longer coat.

Great coat
This is a great coat for a cold Midwest winter. The fleece lining adds warmth and the coat is roomy enough for an extra layer. The two way zipper is easy to use and convenient for walking or getting in the car. The storm teal color is very pretty- not as bright as the catalog shows. This is the second I’ve bought- one for myself and a Xmas gift for my sister.

Fleece lined primaloft coat in dark cinder
The perfect coat! I absolutely love the Dark Cinder color. It has what I’d call a camel color fleece lining. Goes with everything! I ordered my usual Small, fits perfectly. I’m about 108 pounds with broader shoulders. Can easily fit a sweater under it, and the style is very slimming. The length is ideal. Five stars!

A wow of a jacket
I have had a thinsulate jacket for many years now, I like the weight and warmth but needed something longer. Saw this primaloft jacket that looks similar to my thinsulate one, bought it, and it's perfect! Soft, warm, light, fits elegantly and has a two way zipper .
It's my go to jacket now!
Just one suggestion, it needs an inside zippered pocket.
