Definitely not LLBean quality
These packing cubes are not the quality of ones I have purchased in the past from LLBean. They do not have a back zippered section and are of a very thin material. Extremely overpriced and I sent them back.

I was gifted a set of three packing cubes from LLBean about three years ago and LOVE them. I use them all the time, in particular for our diaper bag. They are sturdy and well made, and I tell everyone about them. We now have two children, so I wanted another set. This new design is not even close to the quality of my last set. The material is super thin and doesn't hold up with clothing it. It's really floppy. The part that I dislike the most is that these new ones don't even have two zippers. There is only one zipper and that drastically reduces how well the packing cubes function. These are going back for sure. Please revive the old design! I would buy those again for sure.

New, smaller size
This is my second set of packing cubes from LL Bean. I needed a second set, and satisfied with the previous set, just ordered without shopping around. I prefer the older set and now wish I had shopped around a bit more thoughtfully.
This set is smaller. Not intrinsically a problem, but folded shirts don't fit as well. And they don't quite hold as much.
The previous set of packing cubes had double zippers. This new set has a single zipper.
The previous set had larger mesh panels. I don't know this is good or bad, but I liked the breathability of the mesh.
With lighter material and just one zipper, the new set is a bit lighter, which is nice. But I get the impression here that Bean reduced the size and eliminated one of the zipper pulls to save production costs while reducing convenience. Then raised the price.
I don't think this set of packing cube represents great value. The next time I need or want a luggage, I'll look around more carefully.

Very nice except not worth the price!
I bought these six weeks ago but have returned them---not due to quality or functionality but due to the price! They are very nice---ordered the color Spruce, however I was very surprised to find that they have no stability and are basically flimsy cubes with the Bean logo labels. I'm sure they will fulfill their purpose just fine, but I paid nearly $90CAN and I just cannot justify that! Comparing to others out there (ie the major brand name compression cubes with 2 zippers that are at least 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost) they are hugely overpriced and not worth the high price for what they are. Not sure the reason for the crazy price! Don't get me wrong---I love all things LLBean, the quality is outstanding, but this time I cannot justify spending this much for this item. They would be much more realistic at perhaps $35 - $45.

Best Lightweight Cubes!
These are really great quality and lightweight. Some packing cubes can add some extra bulk in your luggage, but these don't! The zippers and strong and durable. I love the mesh panels that allow my laundry to breathe - a must when camping!

Durable and lightweight
Like everything LLBean, these are very well-made, durable, and made of really great material. They are lightweight, seem to be water-resistant, and they're pretty soft, too. We can't wait to use these packing cubes when we start traveling again!!
