Falling apart rather quickly
I bought this sweater a year and a half ago (Oct 2022). It has started to develop small holes throughout and the fabric seems to be unwinding/bundling. I am a bit surprised as my other LL Bean products have held up. I have not put this in the dryer or exposed it to rough conditions.

Great but . . .
Great sweatshirt. Nice and warm in winter months. My only complaint is the microfiber material will spin off in long threads (so thin they are hard to see) which are near impossible to collect and dispose of and get worse as the sweatshirt wears.

Great All-Around Layer
This was a gift for my spouse and he really enjoys it. He likes the soft, quilted texture of the fabric and it's become that universal layer he wears everywhere when the weather/temperature is uncertain. The sizing is exactly what we expected and matches other items he's gotten from LL Bean.

Love this sweatshirt - quality isn't good.
Returning my 3rd one of these, all of them developed a hole in the elbow among other small pinholes. On the dark grey it was harder to see the hole because the interior layer is the same color as the exterior, but on the last 2 I bought, the interior filling/layer is white, so it showed through quite clearly on the other colored fabrics. Too bad, my favorite item i've purchased over the last few years comfort and utility wise. They need to sort out the quality with a thicker outer material and reinforcements in high wear spots. I work at a desk, no reason for this level of wear.

I really want to love this. It's comfortable and looks like a great piece. But it's extremely fragile and the lining is a different color from the very thin shell--with the result that even a small snag will ruin the look of the shirt. Pretty bummed, because if it were made of tougher stuff it'd be a long-term keeper.

Terrible quality and quality control
I have bought 3 of these. I’ve returned two for a button that came off on the first few uses. The 3rd has been washed twice and is barely wearable due to how much it shrank. The quality of LL Bean no longer justifies the price. I could not be more disappointed.

Amazingly warm & looks great.
This is the second Quilted Sweatshirt I have purchased in the past month. I loved the first one so much I ordered a second one is a slimmer but tall size for wearing at work. The charcoal color and fit is perfect to match my uniforms. Several co-workers commented on this outer layer. Fit, comfort and warmth is perfect. I have used this very nice looking “sweatshirt” as my only outer layer all winter so far and it has been warm and looks great. This quilted sweatshirt is surprisingly warm and comfortable as a layering system for the cold Montana weather.

Lots of holes…
I’ve returned the item once already because after two or three wears it had several holes in it. Feels well made but just normal wear will produce numerous holes.

Beautiful dressier sweatshirt.
My husband loves this top and wears it a lot, I purchased three similar sweatshirts in total from llbean for Christmas and they wash well and are all soft and comfortable but look dressier than a collarless sweatshirt. They are all in size XXlarge tall as he is 6’1” 200 pounds and wanted a loose fitting top. They are definitely an upgraded look and look good with a mock neck underneath or even a collared shirt. Would buy them again as they are worth it.

Excellent Quality
