While many competitors use lesser-quality blends, our yarns are always the real deal. These are authentic ragg wool sweaters, knit from exceptionally soft, premium lambswool.
Our sweater is crafted from 100% premium lambswool yarns that are richly textured and noticeably softer than competitors' versions. In fact, it's practically impossible to find other ragg sweaters made without using lesser wool-blend yarns. Each of our ragg wool sweaters is designed stitch by stitch with time-honored styling and details.

It's warm, and he loves it!

I was skeptic but the sweater works on him
My husband loves the colorway represented in the Saddle option but when he was ordering this sweater I was a skeptic that it would look good on him for his size and age. For context for the former he is 5'7" / 143 and while a smaller and overall fit guy he is widest at middle. I thought the big stripes would not do him any favors but in fact the sweater looks great on him, and he feels good wearing it which shows too. I also thought he stripe pattern might read as too young, he is north of 70 and while he seems younger by a lot in energy and interests he is a seasoned senior. But the stripes work all around, including this Saddle colorway which really 'is him'. Looks great over a shirt with collar and jeans. The sweater is roomy but not so much as to look oversized. If I could wave a magic wand I'd make it an inch or two shorter in length, but he is a short guy so that is no design flaw of the sweater. The quality of the lambswool is top notch.

Very nice material, but colors off
I love the sweater material. It's incredibly warm and thick. My only complaint is with the deep port pattern... the "white" stripes are actually pinkish. It looks almost as if the maroon color bled into the white stripes. However I definitely got it brand new.

Handsome and comfortable!
This well-made sweater's wool keeps the drafts out without being too hot. I enjoy the stripes, and just wish they were in a less somber color combination (I bought 'deep port').

Fits the average sized person
Review is really for the solid color version of this sweater that I think is largely the same. I also have the zip hoodie wool sweater that I expect to see this winter. It matters little. Both fit exactly the same: as if they were made for me. While not of the very highest quality, the thickness and construction were excellent for the price. Why can't they make their shirt-jac fit like this? It seems made to fit a 6 ft traffic cone with arms down to the knees. Not recommended. Stick to the sweaters.

Beautiful sweater
I bought this sweater in the camel/rust striped version. This is a beautiful wool sweater, warm and well fitting. XL is long enough in the body and arms, although it is a little loose in the body. Great for layering. My husband loves it.
