Exceptional Quality
My favorite shirts. Soft, heavy fabric that comes out of the drier not needing to be ironed. Long enough to not come untucked. Durable: still wearing my first from around five years ago with no wear showing on cuffs or collar. No issues - just total satisfaction.

Disappointed
Over the past few years, I've purchased 3 other of the slightly fitted version and was very pleased with the cut and the density of the material. This one was noticeably different with a thin, loose weave and fuller cut. Unfortunately, they've gone from wicked good to wicked mediocre.

Did not fit like other LL Bean shirts.
This shirt was much larger than other LL Bean flannel shirts I have of the same size. So ordering through the mail did not work. I went to the Freeport store and found another shirt of the same size that fit, and did an exchange. Luckily they sold for the same price, so it was an easy exchange.

Same price, less shirt
I've bought these shirts for years, I currently have 12 in my closet, can send pictures if requested. A few years back I wrote a review because the shirts seemed to lose some of their quality. Went to one pocket instead of two pockets with flaps. And material seemed to be thinner< maybe my imagination? So I just got another one, and weighed it against one I've had for years, that's been washed many times so has probably lost a little of it's weight. The old one, 495 grams, the new one right out of the package, 403 grams. So unfortunately, like a lot of items these days, you pay the same price but you are not getting the same product as years past. I still like the shirts, the fit, the look, the comfort. But they aren't as warm or as thick as years past.

Quality has slipped.
I have been buying Wicked Good Flannel Shirts for years and have always been satisfied. This last purchase has changed that. The weight of the flannel is significantly lighter and some the stitching is already unraveling. Pretty sad for a $70 shirt.

these last 2 wicked good flannel shirts were not as nice as in previous years. when washed and dried the seams puckered and the front placket was not smooth. I was disappointed. My husband said they felt nice so he is wearing them everyday. Not ok for more dressed up in my opinion.
