great fleece
My husband loves this fleece. It is slightly fitted, not too long, and a very nice fleece (not a weird feeling one like some)

Great Spring adventure garment.
Light weight, but comfortably warm. Good alone or as a layer. I plan on using the orange/red color while biking.
I also purchased the dark marine blue.

Happy with my purchase.
Nice fabric not too heavy and not too light. The fit is true to size. The green color is really nice.

Great Mid-Layer
Very warm for how thin it is. Used it as a mid layer for skiing and it worked perfectly.

Nearly Perfect
Bought a M Tall, which fits well on my 6'5", 195 lb. frame. The sleeves are 1" too long and, for me, the body is a bit too loose. It is a versatile, stretchable fabric, - wearing it as a single layer, or over a t-shirt, and even as an additional third layer when the weather cools.

Uncomfortable Fit
Unfortunately this Men's Adventure Grid Fleece, Quarter-Zip is not designed or made well. It was difficult to put on, ill-fitting and uncomfortable. There was nothing wrong from an outward appearance, zipper worked, everything looked correct. But it was very uncomfortable and if I had tried it on in a store I would not have bought it.

Excellent light fleece with an athleticish cut.
Love this type of fleece. Wish they wouldn't have ended the hooded version. So light and confortable and looks good.

Perfect Lightweight Fleece
I've been looking for a lightweight fleece like this for a long time, and I was so glad to find it I bought three in different colors! It's such a versatile piece-- comfortable to wear around the house but warm enough to wear as a mid-layer while skiing. I loved LL Bean growing up, admittedly got away from it as an adult, but have rediscovered it. I'm always between a large and an extra large and have struggled with most of the other "performance" brands in that regard-- the large being too snug and the XL too roomy. The LL Bean fit here is perfect though (large). I really like that the 1/4 zip is more like a 1/2 zip for breathability, and fully zipped it doesn't pinch the neck (like many of those other brands). Just one nitpick-- the collar is a *little* tall when unzipped, but I find I'm getting used to it the more I wear it. Definitely recommend!

A little too lightweight
A little too lightweight to be warm enough in its own. My husband has to add a tee shirt underneath.

Excellent hiking layer!
Two years ago I bought a women's version for me and the men's version for my husband. They quickly became our preferred hiking sweaters. They are warm, comfortable, stretchy, and yet they breathe nicely so we don't get hot when we are doing something active. They also look great on. I'm super sad that the women's version is no longer available. I bought the men's version for every guy in our family before the men's version disappears too. Please bring back the women's version!

Great performance!
I purchased a men's hoodie style similar to this one year ago as well as a women's quarter-zip pullover and they have both proven to be excellent pieces for hiking. They can be worn as a warm top layer for mild weather or for layering with colder weather. Lightweight, easy comfort, stretchy, soft and warm. Obviously the women's style fits me better but with the men's I love the attached hoodie that can be pulled up when needed. I see these items are no longer available. Please bring more styles back!!

Great layering piece for hiking! Lightweight, warm and stretchy! Used several days on/off while hiking in Upper Peninsula of MI, plus looked nice in town to shop or eat. Have this in several colors now!

Nice fleece
Nice fleece. I would be nice if they made Medium Tall shirts in bright colors instead of the neutral ones. That's the size my husband really wears but buys a Large so every thing is a little short and boxy on him.

A Disappointing Buy. Awkward Material & Design
Feels unnatural to touch, hangs with sack-like look and holds in too much body heat - doesn’t “breathe.”

Quality fleece pullover
Purchased for my husband. Great fit and style. Comfortable. Only drawback is the gridded fleece interior sticks a bit to whatever is under it resulting in some funny bunching of fabric as he moves. Not a deal breaker, just something noticed.
