Fleece half zip ?
This was just ok I thought for the price it would be heavier or warmer but LLbean has gone down hill on their clothing this one was a very thin fabric didn’t really feel like fleece and my son said it wasn’t warm like previous ones bought before !

Awesome Fabric, bad collar
Fabric is great - would buy a pile of them IF the collar worked. But it doesn’t. Collar is loose and far stiffer than the rest of the shirt so it sort of stands up on its own (in a wavy kind of way) so it doesn’t hug your neck. That works for a dress shirt or even a polo, but not a shirt where heat needs to be kept in (1/4 zip can let heat out) or be cozy (as in, I would wear this shirt as a mid layer while skiing - alpine or nordic). I tried a L and an XL. You can even see the problem in the marketing photos. Back to the drawing board.

Please make in Women's again! Please, please.
I bought 3 different colors in women's sizes 4-5 years ago and have worn them all out. I even bought another for a friend. I live in the PNW and they are a great 2nd layer because they are so thin and soft. But the best thing about them? They are great to sleep in! Whether in a sleeping bag or at home, they aren't bulky are restrictive, and when you like to sleep in a cool house they are perfect.

Great Spring adventure garment.

Nearly Perfect
Bought a M Tall, which fits well on my 6'5", 195 lb. frame. The sleeves are 1" too long and, for me, the body is a bit too loose. It is a versatile, stretchable fabric, - wearing it as a single layer, or over a t-shirt, and even as an additional third layer when the weather cools.

Uncomfortable Fit
Unfortunately this Men's Adventure Grid Fleece, Quarter-Zip is not designed or made well. It was difficult to put on, ill-fitting and uncomfortable. There was nothing wrong from an outward appearance, zipper worked, everything looked correct. But it was very uncomfortable and if I had tried it on in a store I would not have bought it.

Perfect Lightweight Fleece
I've been looking for a lightweight fleece like this for a long time, and I was so glad to find it I bought three in different colors! It's such a versatile piece-- comfortable to wear around the house but warm enough to wear as a mid-layer while skiing. I loved LL Bean growing up, admittedly got away from it as an adult, but have rediscovered it. I'm always between a large and an extra large and have struggled with most of the other "performance" brands in that regard-- the large being too snug and the XL too roomy. The LL Bean fit here is perfect though (large). I really like that the 1/4 zip is more like a 1/2 zip for breathability, and fully zipped it doesn't pinch the neck (like many of those other brands). Just one nitpick-- the collar is a *little* tall when unzipped, but I find I'm getting used to it the more I wear it. Definitely recommend!
