exactly as advertised
i've heard of pants like these referred to as climate control pants.
i was hoping that the pants would fit me and insulate my legs from
the extreme cold weather we have recently been experiencing.
i was extremely pleased with this product; it was effective in keeping
me warm.

L.L.Bean - Men's Wildcat Waterproof Insulated Snow
Love them. Wear mostly for cold weather motorcycle riding. Excellent protection. Sometimes I wear a pair of long john's underneath depending on the weather. Plus they are stylish.

Warm and Dry
Took them out on their first runs and they performed well. They are warm, dry, and don't restrict my movements. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use out of them this winter.

Wildcat pants for skiing
The true fit sizing worked well. I bought these in my normal size, but they were huge so I used the true fit sizing guide online, and the size it recommended was perfect. The pants run big.

Love the simplicity of the pants!
I have a previous pair of these pants and they are very comfortable and sturdy. I’ve had previous pants not LL BEAN that the material cuts from my ski edges but my current pair is a little over three seasons old and no edge fraying. They wash great on cold gentle and air dry keeping their water resistance. Skied last week at 10 degrees and plenty warm. ⛷️👍

Warm, comfortable, higher waist would be better
These are very warm and very comfortable. My only complaints are that they are cut pretty low at the waist. I purposely chose pants over bibs, but sometimes these feel like they are going to fall down. They are very wide at the bottom to accommodate ski boots, but I don't find that that gets in the way of using them for working outdoors or cross-country skiing or hiking in snow (lust look a little like bell bottoms at times).

Bought these just before the Midwest cold came in this winter and these quickly became my favorite outdoor snow pants. They work great with just a pair of mid weight thermals underneath. Highly recommend them! Had a pair of N. F. Snow pants before these but I believe these are a little better vs the cold and block the wind much better and these are waterproof too!

Disappointed in quality
I bought these pants at the end of the 2022 season, so I only really have one ski season in them. For the first season they were warm, ample pockets, plenty of articulation and comfortable. But going into this season the zippers failed. I would have expected the zipper to outlast the pants, so this was a bummer. I use these skiing, so I'm not comfortable having pockets that don't work on the mountain. Makes it a pain to carry a wallet, phone, etc. These are practically new, but over a year, so I'm also a bit bummed that I can't have them replaced.

Left out in the cold
I wear a size 32 and ordered a medium that was indicated to fit a 32 -34 inch waist. I could not pull the side tabs enough to be comfortable. Could still easily pull the pants off while buttoned & zipped. Also, with having to stretch the side tabs so far that the scrunched waistband made it uncomfortable. Did not try a small, as they were said to fit 28in - 30in waist. Most brands do this, which leaves someone with a 32in waist with a pant that doesn’t fit. Please make a 30 - 32in or 31 - 33in pant.

Great pants for snow
I wore this pants for 8 days in the arctic circle in temperatures anywhere from 0 to -15 celsius and I have to tell you that I never felt any cold. I knelt down in the snow for long time taking pictures and walking in rain or wind and never felt a need for a better pants. It is a high quality snow pants.

Great for snow and cold days
I wore these all day every day in the arctic circle for 8 days trip to northern Norway. I was in rain, hail, snow and blizzards and did not have a day when I felt like I needed to warm up. I never felt a day that was cold and uncomfortable. I even had the same boots in the photos of this pants and they are out of this world too. This combination of boots and the pants from LL Bean were lifesavers for me. I am traveling to the arctic circle again this January and will be only carrying this combo and no other winter pants or shows will be added this time.

Great addition to my hiking gear.
I live in southern Michigan, and while we don't get a lot of snow, I still like to hit the trails with my dog when we do get snow. These pants kept my legs dry and warm throughout our hikes. I highly recommend.
