Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs LONG Bought these pants for a trip to Switzerland next winter so haven't been able to field test them yet. However, I will say that the length of these pants are much longer than you would expect. Purchased for someone 5'3 135 lbs and they have NEVER worn "petite" sizes before but the size small regular was way way tooo long. We switched to the petite medium and that fit just right, over the boots the way it was supposed to be. So sizing definitely seems off. Took us three buys/returns to get it right. Otherwise, they seem comfortable and flexible to walk/sit etc. Hoping they live up to what we need them for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pockets the right sizes and in the best places I really like the comfort & fit. But the pockets are their best feature. They have pockets that are in just the right places and are the right sizes which work well for my phone and other items. The waterproofing works well to sit on wet chairlifts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof Wildcat snow pants Great fit! I purchased the medium, navy blue snow pant. It kept my legs warm and dry this past winter. Love that it’s durable Material. I have 2 rambunctious dogs that love to jump and play in snow and on me. No rips, or snags! 😊

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No longer whining about the cold. Great pants for cold wet conditions. I'm not a skier but i wore the pants when I went birding with a small group of friends in midwinter along the cold, rainy and very windy shore of Lake Erie. Everyone else complained of the cold. Normally, i I would have been whining louder than the others. But instead I was perfectly warm and comfortable. The fit was good too. I'm just under five feet tall and had no problem with the length of the petite size pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ski pants These seem like very nice pants. They seem to be well made, with a nice set of feature including fully taped seams. They seemed to be nice and warm. The legs seem to have a wide but flat shape at the bottom, but that could just be from being folded flat in the package. I only got to wear them once, in warm dry weather, so I'll update if I learn more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants but too long in petite Great fit w snap & fly waist that has elastic back & Velcro adjustability insides. Only issue is pants are about 3-4 inches to long so I will need to hem them, losing zipper over the shoe feature. But it is doable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really filled the bill I wore these in Manitoba, Canada, where it was a lot colder than where I live, still a lot of snow when we got there. These pants were cozy and warm, really a big help when I had to be outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for These are perfect for a petite. It is hard to find ski clothes for petites and these were just what was needed. The fit and style are great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ski Pants in Petite Sizing! Excellent ski pants! Petite sizing / gaiter zippers make it easy to fit over boot heaters / warm and well made. Feel good and look good. What's not to love?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!! I'm AMAZED! Went out and used the snowblower, snow shovel, and broom to remove the snow from my property, shortly after daybreak. I was disappointed because it didn't seem to be that cold out. I was warm and toasty from head to toe and these snow pants did a fantastic job. After I was done removing show, I came into the house, looked at the weather, it was 2 degrees!!! Unbelievable! These are a must for both fun in the outdoors in winter and survival. Very high quality. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ski Pants These pants offer excellent warmth. They were a bit long - perhaps I needed petite.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ugh - The Snaps I'd like to echo the complaints about the snaps. They are very difficult to both open and close and I don't have arthritis, dexterity issues, or coldness to blame it on. I am right between sizes per the size chart. I ordered the larger option and when I first tried them on over another pair of pants, they were huge! Velcro tabs allow you to cinch down the waist, but even with that they were still too loose in the waist. Definitely consider going down a size or two. I would exchange for a smaller size, but the snaps would be too much of a frustration for me. On the plus side, the carbon navy is a nice alterative to black--it is more grey than blue. The front pockets are nice and roomy and the zippers on them are not scratchy. The thigh pocket is a nice addition and is about 6 inches deep on the shallower side. The pockets and waistband all have a soft lining. The insulation isn't super bulky. Legs have 7.5 inch zips and elasticized internal gaiters with a hook you can attach to your boots. There are no thigh vents (which is a plus for me since I don't want the extra bulk of zippers in that area). Some measurements from size medium petite: inseam 28 inches, leg opening 22 inches, gaiter opening 15 inches stretching to 20 inches, hips about 49 inches, maximum waist size about 35.5 inches (can be cinched down to 31ish inches. Made in Thailand. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Ski Pants Listen up all of you skiers who wear a petite and/or have boot heaters attached to your ski boots! After researching and trying on all manner of ski pants without success, I purchased LL Bean's ski pants. What a relief! These pants come in petite sizes, are a true fit, they are warm, the correct length (I'm 5'1") and - almost best of all - they have zippers at the bottom and fit over my essential boot heaters! I am excited, relieved to have found these ski pants and recommend them highly. The quality is excellent! Don't hesitate to make the purchase, they are as good as or better than all of the high-end ski pants I had tried on. Happy skiing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Run baggy and long I entered my info in the find my size calculator and it came up as a M regular. I am 5'3" and always find petite sizing too short. These are very long on me, at least 3 inches too long, even when in my ski boots. I tried them on over jeans and they were so baggy in the leg they were just not flattering. My old LL Bean ski pants are about 20 years old also a medium regular and fit great in the length, but I just wanted a new color to match a new jacket. (I ordered the navy in the event that makes a difference)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from snow pants The pants were a perfect fit for a petite person and the waist belt was great for my small waist. Good quality and warm for my northern lights trip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unusual style I was thrilled to find snow/ski pants in a petite. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. They seemed to be well constructed for the cold. When I looked in the mirror, I was disappointed. From the side, they looked fine. But when I looked at them from the front, the bottoms flared out so much I couldn't believe they were the same pants. The snaps at the top of the of the pants are different from usual snaps. They are a little difficult to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Felt like kids old snowpants Very baggie and noisy, uncomfortable. Felt oversized for insulating pants

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but too large I ordered a petite small based on LLBean’s find your size guide. The small was just too big for me, especially in the waist - regardless of the ability to adjust it smaller. Otherwise, the pants looked well made but I was unwilling to order the xsmall and take a chance on having them fit. I have an old version of an LLBean snowpant and decided to stick with it. The legs aren’t as wide, the pants are still warm and work for me. I returned the ‘new’ snow pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Performance and Comfort These snow pants perform remarkably well and are unbelievably comfortable. I wear them with a thin base layer, and they have kept me warm in as little as 16 degrees (Fahrenheit). I am sure they would perform well at even lower temperatures. They seem to run a bit large. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall, 115 pounds, and got the small petite. I probably could have used the x-small petite, but found that the smalls worked well when I cinched them with the velcro tabs. This also gives me some extra room if I want to use more layers underneath.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quality, but inaccurate product description These pants are great SKI pants, unfortunately L. L. Bean calls them SNOW pants. I am looking for a water and windproof pair of pants to wear outdoors to walk my dogs. I read the description and it clearly said snow pants. When then arrived, I tried them on and they fit great! Fantastic construction and almost perfect, except... The bottom of the pant was flared to fit over a ski boot. The elastic band of the liner was also very wide to accommodate a ski boot. What I am looking for, is a semi-straight leg version of this pant to fit over my regular shoes or snow boots to ward off the winter snow and wind. I'm hoping someone at Bean reads this review and creates such a product for next season. It is hard to find and high in demand. Thanks!
