Best Winter Boots Ever!
I was in the market for some new winter boots and I decided to check out LL Bean because I was so satisfied with their products I purchased in the past. Boy, am I glad I did! These boots arrived in time for a New England snow storm and I wore them for almost an hour to clear snow from my driveway. The weather was bitterly cold but these boots kept my feet warm the entire time and provided a solid grip on the surface to keep me from slipping. The fit was very comfortable and the look was very stylish. With the leather uppers, you could wear them to the supermarket or even church. I would only recommend that you try on a pair prior to purchasing to insure they fit you properly. Other than that, these are the winter boots for you!

Best Winter Boots
I like the sneaker comfort of these boots. No need to break them in. They are comfortable straight out of the box. That's the main reason I bought these boots. These boots are also waterproof to protect your feet from snow and slush. Warm insulation and comfortable to wear all day at work.

Great shoe overall!
I bought these shoes for hiking and motorcycle riding (mandatory hard-toed boots for military access). They are perfect! I'd wear them even everyday activities when I visit areas that get cold in the winter (or high altitudes). Perfect fit, very comfortable wear. I can wear them all day and still feel very comfy. I love them; no complaint at all. They are warm too and my feet stay dry even after riding for a longer time in pouring rain.

Awesome boot!
This pair of boots has lasted me 2 years of daily use before needing to be retired. I usually work on paved surfaces and waterproof is an absolute requirement. The tread has held up very well. The seams on one heel are beginning to come apart.

These Boots work well....

Perfect Sizing
These are the most comfortable boots I own. I’ve never owned any type of bean boots because I was worried that they would be too narrow for my wide feet. Other reviews said that the wides were not wide enough. I typically wear a 3 or 4E, and these were perfectly wide. They feel protective but don’t feel too heavy. Big fan.

Perfect fit, comfy
These shoes are really comfy, I wore them first time for a longish strenuous hike (10 miles) and had no problems with fit. The tallness bruised my shin a little but that's because I never wear anything else but slippers and running shoes, so I'm not used to it. I'm a woman and wear 7 1/2 EE wide and these boots did not feel too long although a little longer than needed but had plenty room for my very very wide feet. I was a little worried that I'd keep bumping my toes part into rocks and roots and the like but I didn't. Perfect shoes, some warmth, and really good mud and slosh protection!

too big and poorly designed
my normal shoe size is 8.5 but I got size 8 and it was still way too big. also, the tongues are too wide so when I tied them, the material on the side of the tongues bunches and folds and presses painfully into the front/sides of my ankles.

Good boot, but with small issue.
About three years ago. I bought a pair of these boots in green suede. They were on clearance. I wear these in Fall and Winter here in North Idaho. They are warm in every temperature I have used them in so far. My feet stay dry as well. The only problems I have had with them is, the inner liner in one of them wants to hook up my heel inside the boot. This has been overcome by using a long boot shoehorn. The other minor problem has been that the same boot has developed an annoying squeak. I still wear them despite these problems. With as much as I wear them, the souls still look new, with very little wear.
I tend to wear out souls quickly. I bought my wife a pair of ladies Storm chasers. She has had hers for about a year and a half. She wears them in winter and loves them!
