Easy On and Easy Off
These shoes are very easy to slip on and off. No bending is needed. Good quality and will last for many years. I wear a size 8 1/2. I use them to when I shovel snow here in New England. Worth the money. I recommend them.

Easy to put on, light weight and keeps feet dry.
My husband uses these boots all the time for quick runs outside or around the yard in wet weather. He likes that they are easy to put on and not as heavy as a full work boot. We both like the color and styling update.

Great Shoe But Heel Slips
Storm Chaser slip-ons were great in all respects, except for one. Unfortunately the shape of the heel is straight, rather than forming to the shape of my heel. This resulted in heel slippage inside the shoe with every step.

Not true to size!
I bought size 12 Wide, as I usually wear 11.5W. These run incredibly small, fair warning! I would have to go up to a 13 or 14, but then they would be too long I'm sure.

Get the wider width
I like the shoes. They feel just a little weird on my feet. The shoe makes my front foot feel a little elevated. It feels like the shoe needed a flatter foot print on the front of the shoe. It kind of feels like I am walking up hill. They fit fine. I am glad I got the wider fit. I bought some boots from Costco and really liked them but the had no wider boots which caused blisters on my little toe. Hench I went shopping for wider shoes. Not a lot of choices for this particular type of shoe. Quality is good and they look nice. I really like the width of the shoe. I can wear the shoe all day with no issues. If the front of the shoe was a little different I would have given these shoes a 5.

exact replacement
They "slip on" with effort, just like the other pair I bought many years ago which I'm replacing. The uppers are pretty beat but the lower half and soles are still waterproof and barely worn. Very durable shoe.

Size Matters
Ordered 12 regular the 1st time, too narrow. Exchanged for size 13 regular, way too big. Currently exchanging again for the 12 wide which is what I should have ordered the first time. Hoping this is the last time. Sticking with it because LL Bean has the quality but keep in mind every exchange there’s a fee.

Comfortable and practical
Very comfortable and practical. The fit in the toe box is snug, not overly, just snug enough which is good though because there is slipping at the heel. Your heel does not come out of the shoe, just slips a bit. I typically like tight fitting-conforming shoes but I have grown accustomed to these. Easy on- easy off. Good quality and I expect they will last for years. My wife got a matching pair and loves them too. I wear size 8 and bought size 8, they are true to size, very happy with our purchase. LL Bean products do not disappoint, been buying their products for decades. We live in Chicago area, bought these for wet and/or snowy walks, yard stuff etc. would recommend, in fact I just bought a pair for my father.

Sizing inconsistant - too narrow
I bought my first pair of these back around 2020.... loved them but wore them out... I ordered a 13 medium.... (I usually wear a wide but the medium fit) A little over a year ago I ordered another pair... 13 medium and they were way too narrow... seems they changed who was manufacturing them.... Sent them back for a 13 wide... and while they fit better the fit and finish were terrible... stitching was uneven all over the shoe... pull tabs were stitched on crooked... sent them back again and decided to wait a bit until I reorder... Just reordered them in a 13 wide(January 2025).... and while the fit and finish is very good the shoe is still rather narrow for a wide... I'm going to keep them but they are not as comfortable as that original pair I ordered back in 2020. Bean really needs to standardize their sizes... this has been a complaint for a while now with their shoes... This is particularly true regarding this storm chaser shoe in the width.

Some fit issues
I was on the fence with sizing, since I have slightly wider feet. Went with the 10.5 standard width. Length is about right, but a little tight in the toe box. Was thinking about swapping them for a wide version, but my heel is already slipping up with every stride. Not sure how to fix this issue, but I suspect that a wider toe box would make the heels slip even more. I can slip them on pretty easily, and that’s what I wanted, so will look for some inserts or something to keep my heels down when walking.

LOVE these new Boots!!!
Received my new Stormchaser slip-ons today and am overly pleased!!!
I was looking for something that I could, well, slip on and off & pop in and out of the house without a lot of tugging and shimmying my foot to get into the boot. THANK YOU Beans for providing a substantial loop on these that one can actually get their finger in and is burly enough to not have to be afraid to give it a good tug!
Nice quality, comfortable, and obviously built to last. My current Topsiders are already crying in the closet…
