Warm feet, easy on and off. What could be better?
Great boots, warm and easy to get on and off. I changed from a slip-on while getting the next larger size and am happy I did both. Within days of receiving these, we had 6" of snow, so they got a good workout fairly quickly.

Zip Zip Hooray!
Super comfortable right out of the box! I love the color and look of them too. Zip in and out is a big plus! Appreciative of the previous reviewers of this boot who recommended to go up a half size. Took recommendation and definitely agree regardless of wearing a heavier sock. Wore them for the first time after a recent winter storm and they kept me warm and upright :-). Thank you LLBean!

These boots fit and are serviceable.
We wanted a snow boot for my 84 year old husband. It had to grip, be warm, and light enough not to cause fatigue. The zippers are easy to manage. They fit without a break-in period. They are stylish enough, and comfortable enough to wear for hours of shopping. They do not look like clunky snow boots. I would have preferred they came in black.

Top of boot came apart. I
I bought these boots a couple of years ago. I really loved the way they fit, wore, and preformed in wet conditions. I have and do own several pairs of Bean boots. I have had one pair resoled, worn out from the bottom… never had an issue. The side zip boots in question as I said were great to start with. I only wear these at certain times during the winter. The tops of the boots have started cracking and chipping off. This is very disappointed since the uppers and soles are fine. NOT what I would expect from LL Bean.

Great, except they leak
Bought these after the zippers broke in my husband's previous pair after long use. Two and a half years in, lightly used, the left one leaks all around the front edge. We've tried barge cement at the seam but it's still leaking. Disappointing - we've always counted on Bean for durability. I still have some boots from 1974!

Love Boots Until They Leaked :-(
Bought these 5 years ago and they started to leak at the seam on both boots on the little toe sides after 3 years of moderate use. I am a gal who bought a men's 5 and they were perfect. Will try super glue to see if that will fix. Otherwise, skeptical on replacing, although I see no men's 5 offered anymore. May try the woman's...again skeptical.

I'm not abnormal !
I've worn a size 11 all my adult life but purchased a size 11.5 so I could have thicker socks on in winter use. Could not get my foot into the boot with the zipper all the way down. Sent them back and exchanged for a size 12. With the size 12 I can get my foot into the boot but I have to fight like I'm the third monkey on the ramp to Noahs Arc and brother its starting to rain. Once I do get my foot in there is a lot of slop in the fit from being oversized. I'm hoping they stretch in time and get easier to put on. I can live with the sloppy fit. Hoping I don't destroy the lining from fighting to get my heel down into the boot.

Very nice boot - not true to size though
Had to buy a pair a half size bigger, they run small. They're easy to get on once you get the correct size. Very lightweight, haven't tried them out in the weather yet, but they have a very high quality look and feel. Expecting great things from them for years to come.

Nice and well made.
Seem like great, well-made boots, as are lace-ups thus far, but these should be easier on/off. Returned because husband has very high in-step and arch, SO He could not get his foot into the boot. That prevents reviewing length and width. Even so, they are PROBABLY True to size; the lace-up version is true to size.

Warm, sturdy, and easy on/off!
I was looking for an insulated boot for the winter to do some chores around the house in the colder months. I wanted something I could slip on and go scrape the windshields in the morning or take the trash out, or even to take down the Christmas lights!
I love the flexibility of these boots. I can slip them on for a quick trip outside (like grilling or throwing out a bag of trash) or I can zip them up and wear them out for more extended outdoor activities. They have been great this winter and I’m looking forward to taking the sledding the next time our family goes!

Excellent Replacements for my Old Boots
Needed a replacement for my old LL Bean slip on winter boots. I looked over the possible replacements and these caught my eye. After reading many reviews complaining about difficulty putting these boots on, I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did...I had no problems getting my foot in and out, further this boot is warm and comfortable even without winter socks. There is a lot of stitching in these boots, so I waterproofed all the seams and wore them out in a recent storm...moved a fair amount of snow...my feet felt warm and the fit was great!! Of course the side zipper could leak water, but I'm not submerging them in water, I use them for shoveling and snow removal. I'm happy, and feel I got a great boot !

Good boots
First saw these boots being worn by grandson. He liked them so I thought I would try a pair. Read the reviews pro and con. When I got mine I also got a set of boot hooks to help pull the boots on. They helped me a lot. Would recommend the same to anyone who buys these boots.
