Why I purchased the item and if it was useful..

Cute shoe
I like these shoes. I think they are cute and go nicely with jeans or business casual. I did waterproof them before wearing, hoping they will last a long time. The toe part of the shoe was tight when I first wore them, but they seemed to stretch and mold to my foot pretty quick. These are a flat shoe and no real arch support (FYI for those with foot issues). They have some cush from the rubber soles but none inside the shoe. I would consider adding a cushion insert but there is not enough height inside the shoe I'm afraid, to do this. I would not wear these on a day that I will standing most of the time. Also, I have a narrow foot and have some difficulty finding shoes to fit me, I have no problem with these shoes being too wide.

Better traction please.
Niice color and comfortable, but lacks traction. I wore them on a ice cold day but slipped on ice.

I wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and with a rag wool sock this shoe fits perfect. The only thing that would make this shoe better would be if LLBEAN included a suede brush!

They run big. I wear a size 8 to 8-1/2 and these are way too big for me. Should have gotten a 7-1/2. They are really nice looking boots. Just too big.

They are well made and have a good sole. Absolutely no arch support and my feet get cold in 1 inch of snow. They should be lined for a winter boot. The laces really don't go with this boot and are too long. Not sure if I will keep them.

Tight fit
I purchased these because I loved my chuccas like this in the 70's. OOPS, not like the 70's at all!
Not all that happy, they really hurt my feet. I do NOT have wide feet, I ordered a size 8, the length was perfect, they were just tight throught the width. I sent them back. I would not recommend them to a friend, or you who are reading this..... Sorry LL BEAN!

Boots for walking-without excessive hardware!
These are nice boots for walking in my varied neighborhood terrain, and I bought them because 2 years ago, I bought the smooth leather version, which has stood up well so far. I would recommend treating them with waterproofing spray, regardless of leather type, as they do leak a bit if you are exposed to snow for any length of time. They are comfy and have a good tread on the sole-best of all, not a bunch of extraneous straps, buckles and trimmings..

It’s an okay shoe.
I liked the style of the shoe. Size is correct size. The issue I have is that the top sides of the shoes hit my ankle bone. IT’s tolerable, but annoying. The heel is cushioned and comfortable. The sole is not. I can feel the ground or cement under it. It should have a thicker sole or more of an insole.

Great looking classic shoes
I ordered the shoes my normal size which is size 8. Being that there’s way they are going to stretch out to form your foot. The size 8 I put on they fit like gloves I had absolutely no problems with the fit. As winter comes in my socks get heavier the shoes are still gonna fit perfectly because they’re worn in vinyl they stretch a little because they’re swayed but I’ve never had a problem had to wear a Band-Aid or anything there great shoes and great looking.

Suede ankle boots
When I got them they looked stiff & uncomfortable so I just stuck them in my closet. When I finally decided to wear them I found this was not true. I had them on for several hours & they were still comfortable. I’ve actually been wearing them quite often.

when you spend $100 on shoes they should feel good. the Medium width was VERY narrow! And I have skinny feet!! No arch support, and my feet would still roll inward after I put in inserts. a truly awful shoe!!
