The rugged rubber outsole is not only built for stability, but flexibility too; the cushioned EVA midsole ensures all-day ease - and both are built from the same materials as top-of-the-line walking and running shoes.

Well-designed and constructed. It hasn't snowed yet so I can't comment on effectiveness. I generally wear a 8.5 Wide so tried the 9 M and it fits very well. Still fits

Happy ankles & knees
I’ve worn slip-on Storm Chasers for years, and this is my first ankle high pair. Great support for our uneven dirt roads and vegetation covered slopes when walking with the dogs and doing outside tasks on the farm. All ankles & knees HAPPY!

Good quality boots.
They were a bit tight around the ankle and I felt I couldn't flex my foot much. They were very nice boots, but with my feet they just didn't work well. I returned them with no problems and got a store credit. I think they were sized appropriately.

Love these!
These are so comfortable and warm! Sizing is tricky. Have to try them on. So many compliments. My only suggestion...keep carrying these and make the fur at the top the same color as the boot. The off white fur on mine are turning blue from the dye in my jeans due to high snow!

The top of the tongues dig into my shins and makes these very nice looking boots impossible to wear. Sorry to eay they are painful.

Sizing wrong.
Boot was extremely narrow, couldn’t put it on, despite ordering per the sizing guide. Shaped like a cowboy boot, not an outside walking or hiking boot.

Great boot!
Bought these boots for Alaska in the winter. They performed perfectly. As mentioned in previous reviews, the tongue was a bit stiff at first. I “softened” it up by bending and flexing it. That helped and I haven’t noticed it since. I wear a woman’s size 8 and bought these in an 8. True to fit and allows room for a bulkier sock. Good waterproofing and my feet stayed warm and dry.

Top of shoe
I was in great need of a waterproof shoe for walking my dog. I put my foot in the shoe and it felt great, laced it up, took a step and ouch. The top of the shoe was too wide, couldn’t tighten it to fit snugly against my shin. With each step, the top of the shoe moved and bumped against my shin. Tried a heavy pair of high socks but that didn’t help. Very disappointed.

Uncomfortable fit.
My feet wobbles in this boot. Not a secure fit. I have a pair from 2016 and those fit comfortably. This new design is saddened my heart cause the past storm chaser boots are so reliable and comfortable. Please go back to original designer.

Not a winter walking shoe.
I like the way this boot looked but….,,not it is not like a sneaker comfort as advertised. I am a winter walker who walks about 3-4 miles with my dog daily. After wearing the boot 2 days in a row the top of my feet hurt. There is a seam on the top of the boot and right where the seam is hurt the top of my feet.
Just to wear from the house, to the car, into the store is probably ok, but definitely not as a winter walking boot as advertised.

Proved one negative review wrong! Great boots!
One of the reviews I had read before I purchased stated it was very uncomfortable around the front of the leg, but there were so many positive reviews and pics, I HAD to have. Tried on immediately when they arrived, and it took a few tries before I learned in order to be super comfortable to loosely tie laces, and wa la! Awesome little boots!

Nice...but traction not as good as I wanted
Nice and warm, seem well made. The size runs big...I ordered a half size smaller than usual and still had room for extra thick socks. But the sole does not have the traction I was hoping for...they were more slippery than expected on icy/snowy hike.
