Terrible neck-line
Neck opening gaped and puckered up and became larger once washed. It was not a crewneck. It was unwearable. Otherwise a lightweight fabric with nice cuffs. I returned this item as unwearable and not up to Bean's usual high quality standards.

I wanted to love this mini-waffle crewneck!
I was happy when my burgundy colored waffle tee arrived. The mini weave is soft, color is pretty, and quality looked very good. I originally thought it was a smart purchase that would provide lots of wear in cooler temps. Unfortunately, I noticed after wearing one time that the neckline doesn't lay flat and looks stretched out. I was disappointed and hoped that it would look better after washing it, hoping that the neckline would shrink/flatten down. Not so! I've worn the shirt about three times and I VERY disappointed that the shirt itself looks great but the neckline is floppy making the shirt look old and worn. Since I do not hang crewneck on a hanger there is no reason it should look so stretched out!

Crew neck - not happy
I've been looking for a long sleeve crewneck top and this looked like a great deal. Loved the color and fit but the crew neck grew into a boat neck after taking it off and putting it back on once. Returned.

weird shaped neck
The material is nice, very tiny waffle check. I bought 2 of these shirts. The cream one has a very weird neck and does not lay right. I also bought a black one and that is fine.

Looks (and catalog descriptions) can be deceiving!
I was disappointed in this purchase, for several reasons. While the color was nice, and the fabric was soft and warm, there was no shape to this top. It was almost a straight rectangle, and even the raglan sleeves were in the wrong spot. And like other reviewers, the back of the neck didn't seem to fit right. But, I've been desperate for warm tops to wear in our freezing Wisconsin winter, so I've kept it, but I'm just not thrilled when it works into the rotation.

Sloppy neckline and thin material
Other reviewers are right about the neckline of this shirt, but I still wear it. Also, the one I got this year seems thinner than the one from two years ago. I like the fit overall though, and I wish they would make more, longer length shirts like this. Overall, it's not worth the price.

Can’t decide if it’s crewneck or bateau!
I love the fabric of this crewneck tee. Nice length and unique color. The only reason I took off a star is because mine can’t decide if it’s crewneck or bateau. It doesn’t sit flat around the neckline and doesn’t hug the neck like a crew, so the entire neck edge stands up all the way around. It’ll probably be fine pulled over a blouse. I haven’t tried that yet. I’m guessing this may be a quality control problem and this tee slipped by.
