Great Jacket - Wrong Color
We love this jacket it keeps our littles warm in the winter months and it dries fast and is easy for them to carry. However, my only issue is that what arrived looks different than the color presented on the website. I would highly recommend for LL Bean to look at color accuracy between online image and actual product. This is easy to do using X-rite services.

Soft comfy light warmth
Very soft, very comfy and well made. For warmth in fhe Northeastern US, I would say it’s more of an early to mid fall jacket. And you could layer a fleece or sweatshirt underneath for more warmth. But it’s not for a 40F day, for example, at least by my 5 year old’s standards. He really likes it for milder fall days - it’s like a soft blankey!

Excellent quality, but small
I wish we could’ve kept this jacket, but it ended up being too small my son. He’s a very tall 12-year-old, so thought the youth XL would fit. We ended up returning and exchanging for the men’s version of this jacket. Otherwise it is a great coat!

Favorite Kid’s Jacket
We’ve gotten this jacket for the past 4 years and love it. We’ve tested sooo many, and this is the warmest (we go out in 15/20 degrees) while still being lightweight enough for my energetic boy to climb/run/play!

Overall Great Jacket!
This is a great jacket for wearing in the upper Midwest or anywhere else with crazy weather. It is so light, but so warm when needed. Very cold weather is handled very easily by layering a sweater with it. It is great with a long sleeved shirt in cold weather. It is perfect on its own in cool weather. I love the quality of materials and the great colors that are to make this great jacket. It is my grandson's favorite one to wear because it is so light, so the ability to layer for the different levels of Midwest climate is great!

The down disappears!
I bought two of these jackets - on for each kid. One kid comes home muddy everyday so I've washed his jacket about 3 times. There is no down left. I don't know where it went. It's like a thin shell.

Ultralight is an understatement. Very disappointed
Purchased two of these costs for both my kids. For $150 this products quality is horrible. There is barely any down fill. After just one wash, the down seems to have disintegrated leaving a thin shell of a jacket. I have tried fluffing it with dryer ball, but nothing works. Don’t waste your money.

Great jacket but durability can be an issue.
I have 3 boys and have been buying this jacket for them for some time now. (I pass down and buy another one for my oldest for winter play and then a lined one for skiing.) But now I have to buy my middle boy, as well as last year, another new winter coat which then leads me to having to buy another one of these for my youngest next year! Although these coats are their favorite of all time (lightweight, warm but not too warm, not bulky and easy to pack) the outside material just doesn't hold up for an active child like my middle one. They get caught on anything the slightest bit rough and rip. Even one little hole leads to feather loss and definitely don't wash this coat if there is even a tiny hole-wet feathers all over the washing machine! We love this coat but really disappointed with the material quality for this price point :(

Beware the Zipper!
I bought 2 of these jackets in November for my 2 grandkids. The zipper broke on 1 of them after 1 month and the 2nd coat zipper broke after 2 months. The teeth broke so we had to pull it off over their heads. The zipper pull also fell off on one of them. For $150, I expected much higher quality. Returned them. Nice jacket but needs a higher quality zipper. My kiddos are 8 and 5 years old.

Great Coat!
Very warm and light weight. Hood is insulated as well. We ordered larger than we needed but we’re able to roll the sleeves up easily. Isn’t restrictive during high activity. Easy to wash and comes out nice. Zippered pockets for safe storage. Only con is the price point.

We have the same jacket for our daughter and son 2 years in a row. It’s great for the winter and fall in MD. We use a different heavier jacket for snow, but this is the every day jacket. It’s thin enough for them to wear in the car seat.
