We Love this Little Kids Jacket!
Great jacket, this is the second one we purchased for our grandson. The first will be passed down to his little brother. These jackets keep him warm as toast and are perfect for below zero temperatures. And because the jacket isn’t bulky it makes getting snapped into his car seat so much easier. I highly recommend this coat.

Lightweight winter coat that works great
I ordered the 6-7 for my son who just turned 6 last week and it's too big. I also ordered the Warm Up Insulated jacket for him in the same size and that too was a bit big on him, albeit smaller than the Ultralight 650. My son is on the smaller side and thin (43" and not even 40 lbs.) so I'm sure that plays into it but I would still say just order your standard size. Color and quality are first rate, typical LL Bean. I decided to keep it for next year and order another jacket a size down. He may even get 2 more winters out of it, he's swimming in it! I reordered a 5-6 in a different color and I'm certain it will fit well.

This is what my 6 year old granddaughter picked out for her winter coat. We also got the pants and boots. Her mother was hoping for a more colorful choice, but we all know if the kids like it they will wear it. I have always been impressed with the quality and fit of the llbean product line.

So light and so warm!
My son likes this jacket a lot. It is surprising how LIGHTWEIGHT it is but it keeps him SO WARM and also dry! We originally ordered a large, but it seemed small on him, so we exchanged it for an XL. I recommend the jacket, but order a size up. Also, the color was listed as "vibrant red" but is more like an orangey-red.

Major defect in otherwise great jacket.
Sadly, the down stuffing is coming out through the shell in several locations after less than one month of ownership. It's as if the down is coming out through tiny pinholes in the shell. Otherwise, we loved the style, color and fit.

Perfect winter jacket!
We don’t have to worry that Matthew is cold at the bus stop, recess or wherever. The jacket has an attached hood. He is an average seven year old and the medium fits perfect and plenty to grow next year. He was raving about the jacket when he tried it on. A very warm and beautiful jacket.

Great kids jacket
I bought this jacket for my son and he loves it! It’s lightweight and perfect for the ever changing weather the Pacific Northwest has to offer. It’s rain proof, wind proof /and keeps my little one warm without having him become too sweaty like other jackets. I highly recommend it as this brand was my favorite when we used to live in the Midwest.
