No More Wet Floors
I originally bought this dog mat in the small size because I thought the bigger one wouldn't fit in my small pantry/washer room. It worked well enough but there were some water splashes and so I decided to try the larger size, and I'm much happier with the large mat. Water spills are contained and it looks very neat and nice on the floor. Very pleased with this purhase.

Waterhog Dog Mat Placemat
These placemats are awesome. I bought the large for my dogs and a smaller one for my cat. If they spill some of their water the mat soaks it up and saves the floor. They also keep the bowls from sliding around. The large one I purchased was a replacement for one I had bought many years ago. They do their job and last a long time.

Good luck getting it clean.
I have purchased 2 waterhog food mats and a large waterhog mat for the front door. I don't use the food mats anymore where anyone else can see them, and I am about to give up on the mat inside the front door, too.
I cannot get the dirt and pet hair out of these products. I have tried vacuuming, sweeping, and hosing them off, as suggested, and I even tried even to scrape off the pet hair by hand (a daunting task with the large sized front door mat). I ran the food mat through the washing machine, and it still has visible dirt on it.
These mats do what they say they will, they hold on to dirt and pet hair. Forever.

Great for limiting dry dog food spills
I have two little dogs I have to feed separately. I liked the first one of these. I bought so bought another one and he catches most of the dry dog food that they knocked out of the dish. I’m exceedingly pleased with these.

Keeps the Mess In Check
I have a few waterhog mats near the doors and they work great, so I am not surprised that this does also. My dog slobbers all over with the water and the major part of the mess is kept on the mat. It keeps the hardwood floor under it dry and it is easy to clean, when the time comes to do so.

Works just fine
We have water hog mats by the back door and dog door and had a place mat one for years. This replaced the older one and works fine. Our latest Leo is not a sloppy drinker so it’s not as crucial but we keep it under his big water bowl just in case. I will say the prices on these have jumped a lot, not sure if we will replace the rugs…
