Made from waterproof-breathable 2.5 layer TEK fabric, this light, long rain coat was designed to repel the elements and look good doing it.
We made this jacket from our waterproof TEK 2.5 layer fabric that actively repels wet weather while maintaining lightweight, breathable comfort. Then we added design lines in just-right places for a flattering look and a cinched waist for even more style.

Best garment I bought for travel!
This coat is the best for traveling. It’s lightweight and easy to stuff into a backpack and waterproof. I appreciated the fact that it was longer than most packable raincoats I saw and that came in handy when I got caught in a couple of heavy downpours. Highly recommend.

Super raincoat!
This raincoat was wonderful on my trip to France. It kept me dry in rain and warm in wind. The best attribute was that it wasn’t hot or sticky feeling; it really did “breathe”! I rolled it up to pack and shook it a bit before wearing; it looked great. This was a really positive purchase, no regrets!

Nice rain coat!
This is a great coat - got it just before a vacation where it rained quite a bit - it was easy to pack and this coat kept me nice and dry! I was glad I got the longer length since it provided protection from wet benches and chairs. This coat isn't super heavy - I bought it a little large so I can add layers underneath if needed for warmth and I think that will come in handy. No regrets about this purchase!

Best women’s raincoat ever
Pretty perfect raincoat. Spent wet & windy English day at Glastonbury and was dry from my knees up. Also love the flattering cut. An interior pocket to hold cell phone would be great addition.

Almost great - needs snaps
Although very cute and fits well it only has a zipper. It looks like a trench coat but there is no way to only close it at the waist. It’s either fully opened or you must close it all the way from the bottom. Why not have snaps too? Zipper is not great quality either. Bummer- I’m returning it.

Great coat, could have better zipper
Fits me very well, roomy folded the sleeves up once, I got the normal size even though I tried the petite (am 5' 126 lb) because the petite had a lot less room in the arm hole area, and if I wore a sweatshirt over my polo shirt (because the coat is thin, so might on a chilly rainy day), it would have felt tight in the armpit area. I like the coat a lot, got to test it out last week at an outdoor concert—I stayed dry! The zipper is tricky, it takes some tries to get it to line up and zip smoothly. In the store when I zipped it, it went crazy off the zipper track, but they fixed it. Now I know to really carefully to line it up exactly, verified it's really pushed in and hooked in place and then go slowly to make sure before pulling it the rest of the way up.

LOVE IT

Very stylish but….
I tried this raincoat on in the store at my local mall. It looked beautiful, however I couldn’t get out of it because the zipper got stuck. Had to step out of it. I decided to check the reviews on the zipper problem. There were MANY negative zipper comments. I will not purchase it. Can’t believe they are still selling it. SMH

Very thin nylon. It’s pictured differently than it really is. It’s like a thin windbreaker. It’s definitely not a substantial raincoat. Almost see-through material.

I love it!
I am very happy I decided to order this rain coat. It is light, so I ordered the medium instead of the small so I could wear a sweater under it if I chose to, but it fits ok without one. The reviews spoke of how hard the zipper was to operate, but I did not find that to be true. I consider this a very good purchase.

The Zipper ! Stop torturing us.
I bought this for my wife, a hiker. I thought the complaints about the zipper were exasperated. The very first time she tried it on, the zipper jammed. And the second, and the third. It worked the 4th time. Now she won't unzip it entirely, rather stepping through it and slipping it on and off. I guess LL Bean's zipper supplier gave them a great deal on these. Be forewarned...the plastic zipper is a horror show. A shame it is otherwise excellent.

Zipper issues
I love the raincoat, but the zipper is a nightmare. Constantly getting stuck, I have had to step out of the cost on several occasions. I have had two other LL Bean coats both of which had zipper issues, but nothing like this coat. Disappointed!
