Dry and comfy
Needed a waterproof windbreaker for travel and hiking. This one overall is comfortable, has soft fabric, roll-away hood, good pockets/stowaway capability. Would have liked it to have been vented somewhere, but that’s my only issue. Good value in a versatile jacket.

The jacket is much thinner and smaller than the LLBean rain jacket that I received as a gift many years ago. My older LLBean rain jacket is an XL Petite and fits nicely. I still wear it but it is showing some wear. The newer version is nice, but does not come in a larger petite size. The quality is not as good as the older rain jacket. I returned it.

I’ve been happily wearing my old Trail Model rain coat for 10 years, but this winter the waterproofing finally failed. I ordered a replacement in the same size as was on the label of the old one. I’m so disappointed that my new one is too small!
I loved that my rain coat came in plus sizes (unlike the other major outdoors brands) and had a hood adjuster that allowed it to fit over my bike helmet. I’m looking forward to the new one, I’m just a little bummed that I’ll have to do an exchange first.

Good jacket! Take it with me everywhere as it packs great. Not a cool to cold weather unless layer underneath. I’d like another one like it but lined for warmth. Fit is good.

Great jacket for travel
This jacket was perfect for our recent trip to Sicily. It's lightweight, yet warm and water-resistant, while remaining stylish. My husband got one too, and we used them throughout the trip. They roll up to easily fit in our backpacks and don't wrinkle.

Quality of product.
Reliable, sturdy construction. That’s all I need to tell you about this product unless you want to know the person who received this product had specifically said she would like this rain jacket because her previous rain jacket was from LL Bean. Much of her outdoor leisure wear has come from LL Bean. As she clearly likes the quality of LL Bean clothing, I suspect she will continue to buy or request gifts from this store.

This rain jacket is exactly what my wife was looking for! She had a rain coat from LL Bean that is roughly 20+ years old and it finally wasn't repealing the water like it used to. I didn't look anywhere else, but went back to LL Bean to get her a new one. It fit perfectly and she loves it!

Big disappointment!
I wore this jacket for the 1st time today in the rain and was soaked through all three underlayers. It's wasn't even a downpour, just a slow gentle rain. This jacket is not waterproof. I wouldn't even consider it water resistant. Big disappointment.

Good rain jacket
Good overall design. Runs a bit smaller than expected for a large when wearing over a lined flannel shirt. My main issue is it is very noisy as the fabric makes a crackling sound whenever I move which is very annoying.

Love my “Faded Orange” colored trail model rain jacket ! It goes so well with navy blue and blue jeans too. Bright and cheerful on a dreary, rainy day! Nice material and fit.
