Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant hit My husband loves this jacket. It is so warm, and he is always cold in winter. It is the perfect jacket for him. He loves that it has a removable hood, has all those hidden pockets, is long enough to cover the tops of his legs and is an all-around sturdy coat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Better The zipper lasted 73 days. I have coats that are over 20 years old and the zippers are still perfect. Is this what you get for $200 now?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mountain Classic Down Parka I bought this down jacket for my husband for Christmas and he is very pleased with how light weight it is and warm! He's not a hood wearing guy, so he just unsnapped the hood and he wears his hats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat Fantastic product. Keeps more of me warm in cold winter weather, and much more enjoyable to spend time outdoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps me warm Bought this coat last winter and it has kept me warm through some Montana single digit temps.I have to agree with others that the snaps are a pain and velcro is much easier to handle with gloves on and a puffy coat.Other than that it's a winter winner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like to walk outside in cold weather Returned this coat. Did not like the snaps. Very difficult to engage and disengage. Concerned that outer layer of coat material would tear at the snaps with repeated use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from "Warmest" is a joke. Nice coat but. You rate this coat "warmest." it's 26 degrees with a light breeze that I can feel through the coat. I was wearing a fleece sweater under it. It could easily be 40 degrees colder right now at my house and I wanted a winter parka suitable for that weather. This coat isn't even close.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cold jacket Nice looking and fit well. However a slight breaze blows right through it. Does not keep you very warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A warm coat This coat keeps me warm, fits nice with the exception of the hood. The hood is to big and covers my eye when I pull it on , I've tried adjusting it but I can't find the sweet spot. The snaps attaching the hood to the collar unsnap to easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Mountain Cost This coat is the most comfortable and warmest coat my husband has ever had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price Bought this to replace a Spyder jacket my husband wore for 10 years when blowing snow. He said it's warm and he likes that it is a bit longer than his previous jacket, also that the pockets are larger and more secure. It seems to be well made, we will see how it holds up to a Minnesota winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super warm! Bought this for my son who was looking for a really warm jacket for our Chicago winter. Longer length is perfect. Great buy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really good, but poorly designed hoodie I have had this since 2018, and it is a perfect winter jacket for Boston. I wear it every time I commute into the city in the winter. Very warm and the pockets are functional. However, I do have a giant peeve with this jacket--its' hoodie is poorly attached to the rest of it, it has a tendency to unhook itself from the jacket and one of these days I am going to lose it. Apart from that problem, a great jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding; and I am in Minnesota I have had this coat for about a month and it is warm, very light, functions well, and stylish. My super down parka may be warmer, but this is much lighter. I read some one star reviews and had some reservations, but I found that none of the complaints were accurate. This is a great buy and I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter coat! Tested this jacket at the Gdansk Christmas markets in Poland and it passed with flying colors. Kept my son warm and comfortable in nighttime freezing temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter jacket/coat Warm, roomy enough for a sweater underneath but comfortable without one. Perfect for temperatures in the 30s (20s with a sweater). Exactly as advertised.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jacket but the hood is defective I've had this jacket for a year and although being a fantastic jacket the hood snaps constantly unsnap. Every time I wear it despite not touching the hood, at least 3-4 snaps come undone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very nice except… This is a very nice jacket, warm and comfortable but it has a major design flaw. The hood is attached by 7 snaps and they pop open so easily it’s ridiculous. Putting the jacket on, a couple pop open, putting up the hood, half the buttons pop off, it’s so annoying that I can’t recommend the jacket. If not for that issue it would be fantastic. Hopefully they will fix the design

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Larger than Life Did not fit as expected. Although I went by the sizing Chart and and L.L. Bean Jacket that I own, the XL Tall was to small (didn't fit me in the shoulders) and the XXL Tall was to big (fit me in the shoulders but was much to large from the chest down). Not sure why the XL Tall did not fit me like the XL Tall Jacket I have from L.L. Bean but I was very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter jacket for use in Minnesota. Great service and the product arrived promptly. I like the fit and the style. The coat is very comfortable. It is roomy enough to allow me to add layers if needed. I will get a lot of good use out of the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Mountain Parka" is an exaggeration Very nice jacket that I will keep, even if it wasn't what I thought I was getting. I was looking for something warmer and more rugged, as one might expect with the words "Mountain" and "Parka". This jacket appears well made and is warm for its comparatively light weight, but I wouldn't want to be wearing it in a dense mountain forest at 10F for very long. I also didn't notice when I ordered that it has a slim fit, which means that with my frame I can't comfortably wear a heavy sweater under it. Nonetheless, I expect that this jacket will be good for me as a winter car coat or running errands around the neighborhood. Its lack of bulk will be very useful in these contexts. My only real complaint with the design (as opposed to its specific usefulness for me) is the pockets: 1) the side pockets are too shallow and horizontal, allowing items to easily fall out (can't they be made a little more diagonal?); and 2) there is no inside pocket with zipper for critical items. These are real drawbacks that should be corrected.
