Extremely comfortable base layer
I purchased this base layer in March, and waited until now to review it so I could give it a test under most conditions. In short, it is stretchy without that clinging tight fit. I found it to be an ideal weight for Winter, Spring, and Summer. It wicks moisture very well and does not retain order. I don’t use the dryer on this garment to avoid shrinking. I must say, ktjust what I needed.

Comfortable as sleep-wear
I use this as sleep-wear. It is very comfortable: Does not "bunch up"; does not overheat but wicks away moisture. The neck is a bit small and not very "stretchy" when putting it on. The neck seam could also be made more soft/smooth.

Excellent for higher elevation Summer Camping
I like this Lightweight Crew Base Layer as a protection night layer for a 20-30F sleeping bag at my higher elevation (7400ft) AZ primitive campsites.. Summer camping with nights/early mornings in the low 50s to low 40s. Provides a wicking layer with additional warmth between my body and the expensive backpack/mummy type sleeping bags.

My husband loves these

Light top under layer.
It's made in El Salvador. I hope the workers are paid a good salary there. It is well designed and made and I expect it will last a long time. This is part of the history I have had with Leon Leonwood Bean; that they provide quality clothing.

Nice base layer for early fall, late winter. Have used it several times since I purchased it. If there is anything I would want to see available would be a tall version. It works but longer length would make it a bit warmer.
