Well fitting Leather gloves at last
I initially ordered a men's small and one medium for my husband and I. Both were too big, so I returned them and reorderd . The two pair of women's medium fit us each. It is a little hard getting them on at the wrist, but otherwise they fit well. I assume the wrist will be fine once they are worn a few times. They seem well made and are true to the standard size guide for gloves. They are longer at the wrist than most women's, for which I am very glad as most women's gloves are too short and leave the wrist exposed. The fingers are just right. I love the leather.

Best Winter Gloves I have found.
After struggling to find great quality winter gloves that fit, these gloves are awesome. The XL fits perfect (index fingers 3.75 inches long, hand width at the knuckles of 9 inches). The leather is soft but beefy and the lining is flexible but substantial. Very warm and functional. Love these and may order another pair to keep as a spare.

Deerskin gloves? Maybe not.
I was given a pair of LL Bean's deerskin gloves a year ago as a holiday gift. They were supple and smooth and smelled like leather. Sadly I lost that pair and quietly ordered a replacement pair of the same LL Bean deerskin gloves. The gloves came and they look the same and fit the same. But the similarities end there. They do not smell like leather, they are not supple like leather, they are not soft like leather, and when I thwack them together they don't sound like leather. I have not taken them in to a leather store for a professional look-see, but I'm pretty sure I didn't get a pair of deerskin leather gloves, but got a fakey knock-off leather-like material instead.
I am not happy with this purchase.
They will keep my hands warmer than no gloves, but I suspect they'll start to peel and degrade after a season of use.

Gloves are very well made and fit true to size. However the reason for the low rating is because they are advertised as being very warm with fingertips that keep you warm. However I found the complete opposite. Gloves are lightweight and not fit for colder weather and the fingertips get cold very quickly. But if you are looking for a lightweight glove that are very well made then these are for you.

Nice gloves but not as nice as they used to be.
The quality and softness of the leather (deerskin) doesn’t seem to be as nice as the pair I bought a couple years ago. Sure, these are nice gloves but they don’t seem as luxurious as the pair they are replacing. The couple year old gloves earned a 5 star rating, these fall short hence the 3 star rating.

Look OK but I question how long they will last!
These gloves are ok. Should work in the garden fine but are a little expensive just for that task. I wanted to check out how well they kept your hands warm and I tried them out in 24 degree weather. My hands were definitely feeling the cold after about 20 minutes. I think I should have probably just bought a cheaper pair. I also wonder how long the linings will last. Oh well, they look like pretty nice gloves.

A real nice set of gloves that can be appreciated when you wear them. I purchased these for my son as a stocking stuffer. I know when he wears them he will appreciate the warmth and comfort they provide. At first when you wear them they will feel warm and comfortable, but will you notice as time goes on working outside you will notice a lesser glove allows your hands start to get colder. I think you will find these gloves will continue to keep your hands warm and comfortable versus some that are stuffed with artificial attributes. They will last, and that matters!
